Remember back when a lot of lat pulldown machines didn’t have pads for your legs, and when you lifted enough weight you either had to have someone push down on your shoulders or sit on the ground with a dumbbell between your legs?
i realize that’s dangerous as fuck but i reckon thats a pretty good achievement…the guy has balls lol
True, but still. That is some weird stuff.
you want to talk about weird, the guy from biggest loser(i believe his name was bob) i read his biggest loser book one quiet day at work and his nutrition advice is fairly solid however his training advice is less than to be desired, he was suggesting people to do curls whilst standing on a bosu ball too increase core strength :rolls eyes:

Well, that kind of weirdness isn’t new. To us it’s weird, but to most people it somehow makes sense.
There was a guy at my gym doing push-ups with his feet on a bench and his hands on the flat side of a Bosu ball. Now, although this is pretty dangerous, he was doing it quite well and was obviously a strong dude. He left the ball there and went on to whatever other circus tricks he was into that day.
Another guy comes along, sets himself up with his feet on the bench and kinda does this semi explosive jump to get his hands up on the ball. His hands hit the ball, it pops out from under him like it was greased and he lands face first on the floor and gets up with his nose gushing blood.

I tried not to laugh. I failed.
I was almost tempted to say “Oh you’re mean. that was cold”, but I’m laughing too.
The deadlift video is awesome but the squat video is just ok. I prefer the squat video of the twig looking guy that has like 800 lbs on a smith squat machine and gets slammed into the ground.
