NOTES:

Haven’t had the best food choices at the dining facility and I could definitely feel my blood pressure being a bit high. I really can’t wait to get away from these shitty ass meals!!!

Work felt solid, but not awesome. That’s fine. As long as I’m getting my work in and getting ready for more heavy singles next week, we’re right on track.

Haven’t slept very well lately, and that’s probably another reason it tooke me so long to feel warm today. Gonna get a lot of rest the next two days to make up for it. Deadlifts in the morning!

Getting closer to coming home!!! Can’t wait. Gotta figure out my new living situation, get my pup from the ex, and possibly trade in my truck (a 2010 Titan) for an FJ cruiser 4x4. We’ll see how it works out. Ready to get out of this freakin place.

Hallowed: due to my night schedule, I get to make it to two meals usually. The first is the midnight meal which consists entirely of leftovers from the day. To make things worse, half the time when I’m working, I don’t get to go get my food. Someone else gets it and has to determine how much is enough and what is “healthy”. I often get meals that are too small with chicken strips or some other crap and people think its healthy because it’s chicken or whatever. Then we get breakfast which is always eggs and meat with fruit and either English muffins or a bagel. Same deliver process for that meal as well. I also have them grab me another meal with fruit and a couple chicken breasts for the time between breakfast and getting off work and either making it to the gym or getting to bed. I have a 60g Metabolic Drive shake when I get up and before bed/post workout. Sometimes I grab a snack from the crap we have in our command tent. This is usually like chips or candy. I like chips and candy. Lol.

Spock!: And to make things worse, my working maxes are a little low. This makes the sets pretty much just feel like warm ups. I know the meet is what matters and getting myself ready now is a matter of hitting my singles and refining my form and making sure I comfortable with taking the commands. I’d rather get a big total at the meet than hit a rep PR. I’m feeling really good about my chances of hitting my goals. I’m gonna be the best and it takes smart training. Can’t be going full retard all the time. (Tropic Thunder reference) lol

Just ordered my wraps for the meet. Got some 80cm Metal All Black wrists and some 2.5m Metal Mystical knee wraps.

NOTES:

Just getting the work in. Not sure if knowing I’m not going to be pushing any of my sets is affecting me mentally, but I haven’t been as dialed in the past two sessions. May have a little to do with personal drama, but I’m usually pretty good at leaving that shit at the door when I start to train.

Food was pretty decent so far. About to go get a quick sandwich and call it a day with some NYQUIL!!!

Supplements are still Metabolic Drive Low Carb, Circumin, Flameout, FA3, and Alpha Male. This is my second week with the Alpha Male so, we’ll give it another week or so to see if I start to feel any difference from it. Aleve twice a day as well (440mg).

I actually hate the fact I have to put the weight down slowly… But the rules at this gym are pretty strict and I don’t feel like hearing it. I usually drop it a lot faster and just re-set for the next rep. I think this has made me stronger, though. Not sure, but I think it’s helped.
