Yeah Im getting all into that core strength and conditioning. I just one arm snatched a 90lb Dumbbell Over Head for one rep each arm. Im going for 120lb in this before I start cutting again for my next fight!!

Also finally doing Prowler Sleds and Farmers Walks and just bought 55 pounds worth of chains!

So badass, 2 chains, 55 lbs.
With chains 3 rounds of…
10 Sledge hammer swings each arm
10 tire flips (4foot diameter)
10 pushups

Same day… 15 minutes later

90lb prowler for 20 yard
run back for the super set with…

1 set double the length on both (training supervisor wanted me dead)

My slave driver was pissed off and made me do tire jumps emediatly following all of this without rest and I nearly ate shit on the flooor

NOTES

I brought in my deadlift stance about 3". It feels WAAYYYY better now. I was way too low and trying to squat the weight up. I expect big things from this! lol

I followed that up with paused SSB squats. THIS FREAKIN SUCKED! I count the bar as 45lbs. So, I had a 45 and a 25 on each side. Probably could have done more, but this was good for a first go. I’m definitely going to keep these in the rotation from now on!

I will keep any other assistance to a minimum the next two weeks while I increase my conditioning. The third week, I’m going to go back to my old hill. It’s a merciless bitch and will take everything I have. (just like my ex LOLOLOLOLOLOLL!!!)

Still on a high from seeing my woman this weekend! Mowing the grass tomorrow. blah!

SUPPLEMENT UPDATE:

I’ve added brewer’s yeast to my morning shake.

As follows:

16oz low fat milk
4 whole eggs
2 scoops Metabolic Drive (vanilla)
5g Leucine Peptides
5g Micronized Creatine
2 Tbsp Brewer’s Yeast
1 Tbsp EVOO
1 Tbsp Cinnamon

I’m starting back to work this weekend and this will be my pre-training meal. My plan is to do my lifting in the AM and conditioning at night.

My work hours are roughly 1pm to 9:30pm with a 6 days on/3 off rotation. Still sticking with the conditioning (less fatty) bias for now.

No training today, just some yard work later. I’m getting tased for work tomorrow… FUUUUCK!!!

That is crazy you will have the energy to do conditioning after work that late at night! I used to work some 1:30-9 shifts and I came home and bascially passed out.

I’m used to 13 hour shifts. These ~9 hour shifts are gonna be a breeze. I’m not doing nights anymore, either. That’ll be a blast!! :slight_smile:

The yeast is supposed to supply B-vitamins, niacin, chromium and other things. It’s also 7g of protein per serving and $8 for 28 servings. We’ll see how it helps.

NOTES:

Bench felt solid. I’m really focusing on my pause and staying tight in my arch. I’m also making it. Point to ensure my feet are pointed south and not east/west. I’ve noticed this makes my legs squeeze against the bench a little better and I can stay tighter.

The TBAR we have is on a more vertical plane than most. I can definitely simulate my bench descent on it and I assume my bench arch and really focus on pulling the bar to me. It’s helping my bench already.

I’m hella unbalanced in the DB inclines, this is apparently a weakness and I’m going to fix it.

The prowler kicked my ass again. It’s shitty but I need it. I want to definitely get to a point where 10 trips with this weight is cake.

I’ll get that taser video up after I take a nap. I think it took a lot outta me today… Lol.
