Hold on now, in all seriousness there are some really good bodybuilders who swear by 2 poptarts post workout.

Poptarts = lean gains
buying a case today, and will eat them at the gym
They even make red velvet poptarts now.

2 strawberry poptarts
410 calories
10g fat
75g carbs
4g protein

I still laugh at the thought that I used to add 75 grams of carbs of flavorless powder into my PWO shakes. #poptartfitness #hatethatIamcutting #cantwait4gainz #baconequalsprotein
I use to have 2-4 poptarts intraworkout. SO good.

LOL @poptart fitness, I think Im gonna change my log title.

SRS? Guitar forums? Dear lord, my head would explode.

At the end of the day isn’t there a little bit of bashing from both sides of this? Mainly this whole hashtag hawtabz bullshit.

FYI I am nether here nor there regarding wether I want to be lean 24/7 or not BUT I know that without a doubt I will grouped into this “hawt abz group” that supposedly doesn’t want to get bigger or stronger just because I am currently lean and not large.

Where on this forum or even site is there someone who doesn’t want to get bigger and stronger?!
Come on man, your main goal is to enter a physique contest, am I right? and thats awesome good for you, you look great, but your main goal is not bigger and stronger.

Actually I feel right on this forum “bigger stronger leaner” most people are into aesthetics than getting stronger. All the bashing I see is mainly against the poloarizing figure PX and how he became to represent the fullhouse section of this site.
Indeed I am entering a physique contest, but thats only a goal for this summer cause I am lean. I’m back doing 5/3/1 (hell, one of the goals I said in that thread a couple of days ago was to get back up to a bodyweight military press) and will be doing it indefinitely and of course I wanna get bigger.

I am only 21 years old, I am by no means big currently because of my short term goal but look to what I could be like in 10 years time.

Who on earth would be satisfied with what I have currently?!

You are right about this forum, and I think the biggest problem the forum has is the labelliing and the sort of stereotyping that comes with it.

Oh you dont care about being shredded you must be a fullhouser that eats whatever he wants, oh you are interested in lean gains you must be all about the hawtabz etc.
Agreed, and dont shit on yourself you look awesome and are doing great
thanks man, its really appreciated

on the topic that no one on this forum seems to care about the stronger aspect, would any of the bigger stronger guys such as yourself mattyxl do a coaching thread like the physique ones by zraw and jake?

would be cool to see and would maybe bring that aspect of the forum up more
It would be a cool idea…

Man I trained with a legit bber the other day. He showed me a picture of his pantry; no exaggeration it looked like the poptarts section of a grocery store. He said “This pic doesn’t do it justice; you can’t even see how far back it goes.”

Out of curiosity what “big guys” are acting hard?

Being mostly an observer in this “Bigger, Stronger, Leaner” forum it seems as if it is simply a safe haven for “lean guys” to extol their own virtues and compliment those who have the same goals. Which is fine, but many of the leaner guys aren’t worried too much about the Bigger and Stronger part.

Anyone should be able to take a joke, however there is this feeling I get that the joke is more coming in the way thinly veiled insults. Whether its on the interwebz or IRL being insulted is not funny especially when your the target.
This 1000000 x’s over.

MXL - (That’s short for Massive XL)

I’m going to guess that “J.Prufrock” is a pretty young guy (or has the a smallworld perspective of one). What the anonymous, pictureless, and ignorable “J.Prufrock” could not possibly understand is that I was literally laughing out loud. Funny is funny. Sometimes, “mean” is funny.

I laugh at myself more than anyone, and anyone who knows me in real life and certainly in my other ‘e-communities’, several who are regulars in this forum, knows that I really don’t take myself too seriously. I certainly don’t take “TN” forums too seriously. I work at my computer from home and the browser is always open, so most of the time I post shit because it happens to be in front of me (should probably change that habit).

And that brings me to what is so sad and disappointing about this forum. That other people spend so much time tearing down other people, especially something as highschoolish as “u r s0 f@t” is just, well, sad.

Guys like Dethlolozoth, obviously an intelligent and accomplished guy (and fellow guitarist) who could offer so much to the forums but just troll. Sad, dude. Det, I would love to talk PL and guitars with you sometime, but shit, man-- tedious. Not that you care what a weak fatboy like me would have to say, but I’m man enough to admit I could learn a few things from a young dude.

I don’t know if it’s just the status quo, but the young #hawtabz dogmatic guys don’t realize that there’s a whole world of big/strong people (and I am far from either one of those) who just don’t care to be at or near contest condition, and don’t care to lift ‘for chix’ (puuhleez don’t reply that that is not the driving factor). They want to go the gym and move as much weight as they can (and do just fine with the ladies).

Wow, I just typed way too much.

TLDR;

 • Fatboy wan’ chee’burger.
Words of fucking gold.

45lbs weights of gold.

I like to dip my Pop Tarts in cottage cheese!
