It barely missed the cut and I have eaten my fair share of Star Crunch but I think I burnt myself out on them when I was a kid. Something that has never happened with the others.

Waffles and pancakes use the same batter. Waffles not only allow for more surface area but additional syrup storage hence waffles > pancakes. [/quote]
Waffles also have less potential thickness and absorption though as well as less opportunity for fillings. They also conform less to pressure.
