I actually see a decent amount of girls/women who legit train around my area, but it is almost literally 100% on account of how popular Volleyball is here, with a few of them deciding they want to become Figure/Bikini girls after they start to get involved, and I can honestly say I have seen 2 women above the age of maybe 30(estimation obviously) who have done more than go through the motions with a weight at my gym, so it also appears to be a trend for the young crowd. Those 2 women are a physical therapist at the facility who does oly lifting and a woman who powerlifts with her husband(definitely not #fullhouse though, like 5’6 150 maybe? Her husband is a mammoth though, interesting dynamic).
I didn’t really have a goal with this post, just interjecting some personal observation and anecdotes to the recent conversation development.
