This thread might’ve been the coolest shit ever on T-Nation. Both solid weight with solid numbers, too bad the insults were a little over the top, and MM really took a suckers bet(which I’m surprised for a Gym owner). I learned a long time ago that somebody can be stronger than you if you do their workout. It’s funny how precise the body is and what it adapts to.
Some times honor can be bad just watch Game of Thrones, but if MM can break his word it would be cool if both of them do a more complete competition. Since this was Swolles specialty, Meat choose the next one, or they both decide on a group of exercises. Maybe it’ll lead to some more competitions.
Either way I don’t front squat but don’t see Swolles win as proof that MM is wrong as grip less has seemed to help more than one person, and I’ve witnessed far more people fuck up a gripped front squat.

Meat, damn it I hate to see you go. It makes it a lot easier to know that you’ve been thinking of leaving for some time now (and it makes sense). You were always one of the guys mosty everyone on here respected and looked up to. You will definitely be missed, but I would love to see a post from time to time giving your BOIs an update on where you’re at (ESPECIALLY the results from your meet this October).

Very impressed with swolle. A lot of us ate our words here, including myself. It sucks in a sense that some people actually have the class that meat, and now swolle have displayed; but at the same time, it says a lot about them both.

Also, I have a perspective to share on the argument escalation and the childishness that took place before Swolle and MM decided to disappear. Apologizing after you start a fire doesn’t necessarily make up for burning down a building. I don’t understand why Swolle got the props he did just because he apologized (and also squatted in a video). Apologies are great, but they don’t always repair the damage done by the initial actions. Just some thoughts.
