Front Squat Hand Positioning

actually the more i think about it… you are the kind of poster that is really bringing down this site. the “know it alls” that just bash others and call people names. lets up the stakes. whomever hits the highest reps with 405 wins…the other one NEVER posts on T-Nation again.

This thread just got very interesting.

Meat, I want you to post up a vid with 405 and rep it the fuck out. Use your hands, because he will.

don’t worry… i will. i’m not supposed to squat again until saturday but i doubt i’ll be able to wait that long. once i do, i’m going to start a whole new thread to commemorate the challenge.

This thread turned to shit, but I’ll enjoy watching meat rep out 405.

$100 on Meat

Awesome. Dominate this motherfucker, meat.

Way to hold him accountable MM.

I will be following this.

.

I’ll enjoy never seeing your posts again though I doubt you’ll abide … You should know your audience… Before proposing challenges… Ive read a good portion of your threads… I don’t think you’ll be besting me… But GOOD LUCK.

$200 on meat for reps; $1,000 on meat for a max. Of course, after Swolle loses (just like he got owned when meat posted that non-challant 500 paused front squat) he will probably change the rules to

“whoever can front squat the most with their hands up their ass, at full moon, while wearing ballerina slippers and namecalling all his neighbours in his backyard”

I mean, let’s not forget - “FOUR REPS IS NOT REPPING IT BRAH!.” This is just silly dude - namecalling one of hte msot experienced and, most importantly, HELPFUL, members on this website. Who have you helped? WHat bodybuilding or powerlifting competitions have you won? Actually, have you ever competed in anything in your life?

The thing that I don’t understand is why are you so mad? If that’s you in the Avi then why are you worried about what other people think and do? If it were me I’d be all like “I got massive quads bro I ain’t even mad doe” but you’re all like “I gotta be the alpha gtfo son”.

I stand by everything I say and do. I’m a man of my word…if you step up and out perform me, then i’ll never post here again.

The question is… will you??

Post your video… Better yet I’ll even give you six months to work your way up to a man size weight… When you do… Let me know. I’ll show you what it’s supposed to look like… [/quote]

You are seriously acting like a 2 year old.

Something tells me it is swolle here that wants 6 months to work on his front squat lol.

Oh and FWIW Swolle, I’ve front squatted 475 lbs at a bw of ~200 lbs. Just throwing that out there.

It’s hilarious yet sad how you feel the need to “call out” meat as if he’s some cocky newb or something…a lot of people here would call ME humble, but meat makes me look like zyzz in comparison. The thought of him needing an ego check or whatever is hilarious.

Strangely, this silly situation has renewed my faith in the T-Nation community. It warms my heart to see that we still have members here that are willing to speak up when they see something that is wrong. I actually stopped posting for awhile becuause it seemed that everytime i tried to help someone, there was always someone else there to turn it into a pissing match.

Maybe there’s hope yet.

Lots of great things go on in the logs pretty regularly.

I have been trying to keep up with that stuff, but there are too many good logs for me to do that well.

@maraudermeat
You’re handling your words as you do your weights: with class and laid-back style.
Should I ever wash up in your neck of the woods, I’m gonna buy you a drink. And a big-ass steak.

this thread.
