Hey can anyone tell me what is the deal with this, I have been having pain in my front delt even doing very light DB presses with a neutral position, for whatver reason it feels like all the stress is going on my front delt, is that an impingement or the cuff?
Possibly.
Post a typical week of training so we can see if there’s any corrections needed.

There was a great article last week I think about scapulae and how it cause shoulder problems, you might want to look into that aspect. The article states that its not our actual delt that is the problem
It could also be your pec (as it attaches to the humerus (bone in arm)or your bicep or some other muscle that attaches to either the acromion or your humerus.
Start stretching alot, get a massage, do rehab work and ice
Good luck

Hey Doug thanks for the response, I just got off doing the HSS:100 Back Specialisation program the Thibaudeau wrote about to help balance my shoulders out-though I do try to stay balanced training wise. I am doing the HSS:100 Chest training now to build up chest thickness. I thought the issue was done for but even with 35 lb DB’s I could feel the front delt being worked too much, I find rotary cuff work does seem to help with it a bit.

I have started to implement some of that into my routine, I have been doing pushups and also the face pulls as a warm up and off day routine.
