I responded to the first conspiracy theory thread about the moon landings, but I’ll repeat a few things. The reason you can’t see stars in space all depends on the resolution speed of the camera. You’ll notice most pictures of space are without stars. However, in pictures from Hubble there are almost always stars in them. Next, the old flag waving argument. The flag was either made of steel or had steel rods in it. I can’t remember which one. This does however explain the “appearance of wind on the moon”. Also towards the bottom right corner of the flag their is a “ripple”. This was done on purpose to give the flag a more real look to it. Finally, the flag appears to be waving because the astronaut is twisting the flag into the pole in the ground. One more thing. The LM doesn’t kick up that much dust because the amount of thrust needed to land and take off was at a minimum. Remember, they have very little gravity to fight against when landing and takeoff, hence very little dust.
