I needed something different today.
I pulled out my 2 lbs. Indian clubs, and my new Shena push up board and probably did 25-30 minutes of Indian clubbing and Shena push ups, and did my best at circular push ups.
I am guessing 30 minutes is close. I was listening to a 40 minute interview with Antony Beevor and finished up with a set of vacuums.
So it looked like:

My Indian club form was spotty, it has been awhile. Also, there was negligent leg work involved. There is leg and aerobic work in Persian yoga, I just am not familiar with it.
Maybe I will start putting in more serious Airdyne minutes. I always type that.
I actually worked my legs yesterday, kind of. I hit my fishing spot. Caught two rainbow. One was the biggest I have pulled in this summer. But I spent quite a bit of time going up and down the bank which consists of lava boulders. Crawling and walking on that takes some umpff.
I can tell my shoulders are in for it.
Will this become my routine? I do not know, but it was a nice break.

I’ve yet to play with clubs, but keen to try at some stage. Mainly working the mace. Also been using my less dominant hand on the bottom to work that ‘weaker’ side/arm more, but still chop and change for halo’s etc.
I have followed him on and off for sometime. He has thousands of dollars of clubs, meels, and maces. I would like to pick up a pair or two of Persian meels.

I woke feeling good. No shoulder soreness from yesterday. So. I performed yesterday’session today.

20 minutes infar-red dry sauna
I finished with a pretty decent pump. More vacuums, less ab stimulator seems to be helping that belly button hernia.
I weighed 202 lbs. (on my scale) so my weight is steady.
I woke way to early this morning. Sleep is a concern. I usually am not a big sleeper anyway. But 1:00 A M. is early even for me.
Friday is my next day. See you then!

I’m envious of the gorgeous cursive! That really makes a log look classy! I’d say Friedrich is certainly a step above me. My log is more a showcase of how many times someone can write “x12”, like Bart Simpson writing on the chalk board!
@davemccright @SvenG Thank you! I had to make an effort to relearn cursive. It isn’t even taught anymore. But due to Chatgpt I know some English teachers who are making students write papers by hand. The old fashioned way.

Just finished reading his D-day book, read his Stalingrad and Berlin books a few years. I quite enjoy his style of writing.
He has been banned from Russia he states. I just saw an interview with him.

There has been a swap in pre workout. My girls were in town. They found my Doughnut Shop Brand intolerable. So I ordered a case of San Francisco Bay coffee (obviously…). I do not know the difference. But they do apparently.
Today’s session was good. Good pump. I listened to parts of volume 3 of Shelby Foote’s, The Civil War. I have been reading it here, listening to it there. I finally finished Blood and Iron a history of Germany military since the 1300s (?). It was long. But listening is great for cars, fishing, etc.
I felt strong today. Which is good. The downside, my left shoulder feels sore.
Sauna, twenty minutes. I am enjoying those more.

I forgot, I measured my upper arms. I guess I did the best I could. They came in at 15 in. When I was a pup I reached 17 in. They look smaller in the mirror test, outsized by my Burgermeistermeisterburger shape. I have been eating better. However that needs to be a habit. I think I can get the arms bigger. But that only pays off if I can reduce my midsection. Of course arms are just part of the upper torso equation. My shoulders and chest look decent, again outdone by my ample abdominal area. Though not measured, my naturally slender cross country runner’s legs have added muscle. I obviously have work to do.

Hot for the Upper Snake River Valley. Kind of lackluster this evening.
