Today is after school chess day for the staff. It is also starting to wear off. I should be very good by 5:00 PM. Thank you for the concern. I have worked with others that have misidentified their meds. It was funny when they did it.
At first I thought you wrote, today is after school āchestā day for the staff. Was going to ask if you were hiring.
Hope that Lunesta wears off soon. I accidentally did something like that once and went out to a big dinner with family. It was awfulā¦
You should watch Death at a Funeral with Matthew MacFayden and Keeley Hawes. There is a fellow who takes the wrong med. Good stuff!
Thatās a great british farce.
There are few movies I find that funny. The opening scene, when they open the coffin, was priceless.

See you Monday!
When I was in first grade we moved. I met another first grade student who attended my school, and church. We maybe exchanged 10 sentences from first grade to high school graduation. Then nothing. Then we have ended up Facebook friends. Since becoming friends we might have sent each other happy birthdays. Now with the back-story filled in, the point I am trying to make is, yesterday he posted he has Lou Gehrigās Disease. Apparently he might qualify for a gene therapy trial. I hope he does. For whatever reason his illness has made me quite sad. I do not know why, but he is somehow more than just another high school classmate who is succumbing to another (usually?) disease of age. Sorry, I just had to express that.
A few years ago, my best friend from HS died on the streets of SF, homeless.
And, of course, I found my brother dead on the floor of his kitchen.
It makes us feel our mortality.
Yes it does.

OK this morning. A bit swole. I changed resistance. Resistance needs to be increased obviously. That happens Wednesday.
I am listening to Democracy in America. Quite interesting. I am not sure how I got to my age without reading this book. Or listening in my case.
See everyone Wednesday!
Well, we need a math teacher. You would prefer the chess.
I am in looking at retiring from my job in less than a year. I have also worked as an adjunct a local university for the past 12 years. I have an MBA. I plan to continue teaching part time. The kids are cool and keep me young. I often run into someone who has been in one of my classes. Most of the time I canāt remember them, but they remember me. Tonight, at the gym, was a prime example. A young man came up to me and shook my hand. He was in my class several years ago. He caught me up with what heās doing now. Thatās the stuff I like.
Wal-Mart is usually where I run into a former student. Or the local gas-convenience store. I used to remember most of my former students. Now I pretend. One works at the pharmacy I frequent. It is good to have someone walk up and say hello. Better than a punch in the nose. There is a parent who I see rarely who still calls me the āassholeā. I always just smile.

Happy Birthday Sir!
02.26.25
Thank you for the birthday wishes. I got home to put in my session and head to dinner. Upon arrival my wife informed me our brother in law had collapsed and died of a heart attack
To be frank I have not seen him in a decade. My wife is concerned about her sister of course. So my wife is off to Kansas.
Enough of that. Again, thank you for the birthday posts
Early evening tonight. 6:30 to 6:55. I had a Zoom meeting with my girls at 7:00.
I started a two hour talk/interview with Allen Guelzo. Then got going.
A good workout;
On to Friday!
hoy!
