Hate to hear you are down with the flu! Rest up and you will be on the other side soon!

I had a nice Christmas. More family arrives today!
I received a fishing raft. I hope May arrives quickly. I do not ice fish, so come on Summer!
I am still under the weather, but put in a session. I have been sticking with calf raises. They leave me less nauseated.
Regardless, it has been a good week.
Less resistance all around. I still had a good pump!
See you Saturday!
Good to see you still able to get some work in. I think calf work might make me more nauseous. ![]()
Way to tough it out.
Hope you’re starting to feel better

Patient Zero here. I finally missed yesterday. I am getting better, but exhausted. This virus kicked my ass.
There is a bright side. I stumbled upon Nightwish on Youtube. I do not recall having been aware of this band. Their front-woman, Floor Jansen, is a force of nature.
Enjoy:
See you tomorrow, or Tuesday!

Happy New Year!
I am not sure what I had, but it was bitchin’ disco. Even this morning I felt exhausted, it kind of faded away so I put a workout in. I feel good currently. A good full body pump.
I have laid around for a week watching live concerts on YouTube. That Wacken Festival looks cool!
I hope everyone had a good New Year, the Bloody Mary’s relieve that headache, and you get a session in today.
Thank you. For my stage in life they get the job done.

OK today.
I still feel spent. I napped hard before I got my session in. Then tried to wake up with a cup of Fog Chaser. Though, I believe caffeine makes me sleepy at times
I again reduced resistance. This may end up a rebuilding project.
Edit: I am still mining Nightwish. My grandson is now a fan.
Anyway, see you Monday!

I feel like I had been hit by a truck today, all day. But moving up.
An evening workout. Obviously.
Low back pain. Toe raises instead of front squats.
See you Wednesday!

Total Time. 25:00 mins
Total Reps. 140
Later in PM again. Mornings are a drag.
I feel better. I need more sleep. 10 PM to 2:30-3:00 AM is not quite cutting it.
Switching shock rings with elastomers is a good change up. Saturday is dip day. It has been awhile.
See you Saturday!
My youngest graduates with her BS in nursing tomorrow. Five out of five with college degrees. My girls shame me.
No, their success and accomplishments just go to show how awesome of a dad you are!
Congrats man that’s awesome. I agree with @QuadQueen comment

Thank you for the comments. I did push them. My second daughter wanted to go to hairstyling school. I told her I would rather she go to truck driving school. She has two degrees. But will still tell me cosmetology school was her dream. Looking back, I might have been less of a dick.
5:30 AM
Pre-work out: Fog Chaser
I kept to strict time this morning. Thirty seconds between sets. One minute between exercises. I must feel better. I have a good pump
See you Wednesday!
She can still go if the dream holds - but now she’ll have an educational base that improves the odds of ownership and success. One of my sons has a bachelor’s degree in theater arts. He’s a 911 dispatcher, because by the time he finished his junior year he was “sick of dealing with prima donnas.” ![]()
He’ll eventually go back for either a second bachelors or a masters, but first he has to figure out what he wants to do. I sometimes wish we’d pushed harder, but I didn’t want to crush his dream, and also his father said, and I agreed with him, that “there’s no reason he can’t be one of the ones who make it.” He was the star or one of the stars of every high school and college play he did and is bright, good looking, and hard working. He also memorizes very easily.
But yeah, we were probably wrong to support it. Parenting is hard, yo.
It most certainly is. They are adults now, and it is still hard. But, excellent at the same time. I hope your son finds success. You never know.
I was talking with one of our local police officers yesterday. He let me know the city is (finally) moving toward building a community center. Apparently they are designing a facility which is similar to the Jackson, Wyoming community center. An Olympic size pool (which the high school swim team can use), a weight room, basketball, possibly racquetball. I am looking forward to it getting started. The swimming option is a bonus since I had to use the university pool and that was inconvenient. So, as much as I hate it, here’s to progress!
