Felt sore from the bench PR and yesterday’s fasted cardio so I downed a little beta alanine with my pp today before my workout. I’m usually not big on the extra supps but needed a little push today to get through…
THE COMPLEXES FROM HELL!
Decided to start however with a few pullups just to see where I stood with the weight loss. I kinda pushed those to the side during the bulk 'cause, well, they sucked.
Neutral-grip pullups (I find those easier, good way to start up again)
2x1 - managed to haul that fat frenchie butt twice. Not pretty but happy non the less
1 band 2x3
2 bands 2x5, 1x3.
Complexes inspired by Tim’s suggestion of keeping the reps low and the weight heavier since its more aligned with my style of lifting.
75lbs Barbell 12 set of 3 reps each

I initially had cleans in there but after the first round I saw that wasn’t going to happen. I haven’t done them in a long while and the technic was really sloppy. I need to focus on relearning that one on its own.
Took short breaks between circuits and a longer break after the 5th round. I had to dig deep after set 8 and 10 to push through.
Silly Frenchie thought she was going to front squat the easy weight without stretching, even after yesterday’s cardio. Well I almost fell on my butt. Decided to rack the bar and take a few extra minutes to stretch: dislocated x 12, calf and hamstring stretches. Squats felt much better after. Also ran through the same stretches after.
Now I’m hungry and planning a wonderfull homemade beef stew for supper - WIN!!

Frenchie, you look stunning. Congrats on those pullups too. I’m always amazed at your follow through–how you go out and do what you say you’re going to do. Frenchie says she’s gonna cut–she cuts and kicks ass at cardio to make sure it happens. It’s way cool that you don’t mess around. I admire that.

Nadia - Thank you for the very well worded compliment. I’m focused because I gave myself a very tangible target. When my drive is on lifting heavier, I lift heavy and I eat. My targets are specific weights and I work towards them. Now my target is a little fat loss my specific goal is 150lbs, and my sweet carrot is a week wearing bikinis. I will add that 150 on my frame is not that lean - I’m not aiming for a crazy impossible target.
Speaking of cardio I felt totally crippled today from the killer workouts I’ve been putting myself through. I finished work a little later too so I decided to keep it simple.
treadmill
2 mins 3mph
3 mins 4mph
35mins 5mph
5mins 3mph
total: 45 mins.
Took 20 minutes for shoulder dislocates, foam rolling and stretching the hamstrings, calves and groin. The traps are feeling especially tender today.
On a different note I bought a new bikini at lunch time! A black “bill a bong” with metalic silver detailing. Love that you can buy them as seperates, love that the bottoms have enough cloth to somewhat cover my ass. I’ve tried many different brands but I always end up buying their stuff.
