Tim, good man, you should know by now that a drunk woman is far better suited for ummm cardio than lifting.
And I did get my cardio in after the Grand Marnier
Kimba- haven’t seen them in the stores so I guess I have no choice…
Nikki - that means dropping the volume WAY down my volume queen. And no complexing. I’m not sure you can handle that.
Oro - thanks for dropping by, Grand Marnier is a good staple for canadian winters.
Alex - thanks! Love the smell of my tree too.
DCA - Thank you, I’m very proud of the feel and look of it too. I’ve been crafting another speacial request in my mind for a while. That one should be pretty cool.
Maschy darlin - Thank you for the kind words, and Montreal is serially hot in the summer. Let me know if you ever wanna come up here to play Furries 4 ever!
You’re not sulking at all, but I might have to get me one of them hats just for you Enjoy your Christmas time with everyone, hope it all goes perfectly!

This. For sure. You’ve definitely made T-Nation a wonderful place this year, can’t wait to see what 2011 holds for you (and your log!)
Print - mmmm smithwicks. Have you ever tried a London’s Pride? Had one of those for the first time a few weeks back and really took to it.
Thanks for the kind words guys
Joe - Cheese gods sounds like my kinda alter. signe me up plz.
Last night went really well. My brother and his wife are fabulous cooks. There was salmon tartar flavoured with fresh lime vinaigrette, duck and pork rillettes, turkey thigh stuffed with pork and figs… 5 stars. A little punch seemed like such a small payment for such a feast. On the other hand my first attempt at punch was a hit. Great start to the festivities.
Today we drive north about 1.5 hours to visit my mother. She’s having us all over for a small family supper, and tomorrow I’m hosting my sammich party…
Frenchy, those food items sound DELICIOUS. I went with simplicity: an enormous sirloin roast, my mom’s gruyere cheesey potatoes, corn pudding and salad. Dessert was traditional rice pudding with a contest to see who gets the almond and almond cake. There is plenty of food leftover and way too many sweets in this house!
Damn, your food selection made my mouth salivate! My aunt, from the other side, only had a pork roast and mashed potatoes. Tonight is Chinese food over here!
Did not learn before noon today that no one was going to show up at my supper. Eveyone cancelled and the weather was fine too. Gifts for the kiddies, down the drain. 150$ worth of groceries, down the drain. Christmas tree, no reason to be up. All the time and energy wasted. Seriously, if they knew no one was going to drive an hour to come to my place why did they not say so before hand?? Fuck. This really hurts.
This is really sucky. Boy, I wish that were different. Family can be a really hard situation sometimes.
I would take the gifts and donate them to a homeless shelter for families or something like that. Then you will have done a very nice thing for someone in need, just as you originally intended.
The tree made a very pretty picture. It therefore had a reason to be up! Beauty is never wasted.
And something tells me the groceries won’t be wasted either. Mmmm. Sammiches…
Wow…that really does blow. I hate it when people don’t have the courtesy to pick up the phone and communicate, especially something like that, when they know groceries don’t appear out of the blue, and planning goes into these things. I have had it happen, it sucks balls. Sorry to hear that.
so sorry to hear everyone cancelled. that sucks huge monkey balls and had to hurt like a bitch. hope you ate your way through as much of the food as you could.
Sorry to hear that Frenchie. Entertainment preparation is so much work. It is sad when the effort is not realized and matched by friends and family. But you are lucky to have an abundance of passion and energy for living–not everyone does you know. Don’t let the poopooing of friends and family temper that. Party on!
Damn Frenchie, that sucks donkey dick, it really does. People can be so bloody inconsiderate. I have no useful suggestions over and above what everyone else has said but donating the toys seems like a good plan, and there’s no reason you can’t enjoy the food and tree yourself. Hugs and stuff.
