Long story short, my book “Engineering an Athlete” had a good sales run and now that I’ve made a few bucks off of it, I’d like to share the wealth, so to speak.
In a nutshell, “Engineering an Athlete” covers the training process from beginning to end. Everything from novice assessment to long term programming is touched upon and every facet of athletic training is explained and integrated into an easily manipulable training system.
Just a few of the things the book includes are: specific training routines, information on training proper muscle recruitment patterns, long and short term programming advice, special exercise picture sequences, diagrams for equipment construction, nutritional information, psychological training tools, testing criteria, and athletic standards.
All in all, it’s a fantastic book and you would be doing both of us a service by giving it a look. If anyone has any questions or comments, about myself or the book, I’ll do my best to answer them. Let me know what you guys think.
