Good find though - how is she able to write scripts for that much. Normally folks limit to 200mg/week
Maybe because she doesn’t know WTF she’s doing…HAHA!!!

Oh I was pretty certain of that once I read the first post in this thread.
400mg every 10 days? Geez, where do these people get medical licenses!
Well if she wants to do a “legal cycle” monitored with blood work for a while, I am fine with that. No reason that we cant back the T down later to a more normal dose once I’ve bulked up a bit more, is there? Anyway, what about introducing growth hormone into the “treatment” down the road? Anyone have experience with that? As to how she is prescribing it, I have no idea. She writes the scripts and the pharmacy fills them.
Thanks
Personally I wouldn’t do the legal cycle. It’s just going to screw you up. I think you’re way better off starting a normal TRT protocol. It takes months to tune it in properly and you’re just going to delay it for a long time doing the madness your Dr is prescribing. Seriously you’re dealing with a Dr who doesn’t have a clue.
Monitor bloodwork while on this protocol??? What are you going to monitor? Your T is going to be 2.5 to 3 times the top of normal as will your E2. Arimidex will not keep your E2 at a reasonable level if you’re going to shoot 400mg.

Maybe BUT, at least he’s found an MD who’s willing to work with him ( more than many of us can say…).
Yes, she is very willing to work with me and she has a number of clients that certainly look like bodybuilders in the waiting room! She said one of her main goals is to increase muscle mass, so thats hard to argue with. I’ll ask her to do labs again when I see her in a week. What about some ideas as to how I should work with her if the main goal is body composition improvement and bodybuilding.
I dont want to step on stage, but I want it to be pretty clear that I am a bodybuilder and I want to do this safely and legally.

I dunno steve, I think she is going to fuck him up worse than he was when he came in.
If he was really knowledgable in HRT, he could exploit this situation and make it work for him.
Sadly, he is not. This stuff takes a good year or more of constant, daily, research, to get a decent handle on it.
Where do I start? Lets see
High blood pressure/hypertension, leading to heart disease
He will probably have pretty bad BPH within a year or two tops
Hair loss
Probably gyno
Elevated Red Blood Cell count, leading to a thickening of blood.
No hCG? No T, at least in my book. I would never, ever recommend using exogenous testosterone administration without running hcG along with it
She is using him as a guinea pig, essentially practicing medicine on him as she goes, to learn the ropes.
I couldn’t agree more. This Dr is bad news. Beyond that this is the type of Dr that ends up in handcuffs. If I were using this Dr I would have a back up plan!
Besides you don’t need to run 400mg of T to gain size. Upper normal range works fine and the gains just come a little slower. This guy is just going to end up all screwed up.
Thanks all. I will get the blood work and tell her to keep it at the upper end of normal. I know it varies, but that should be 100 - 200mg of Test-C per week? How often should I get her to do the blood work? Together with AI does that seem to be a reasonable long term plan? Also, any thoughts on the HGH? Add it in or stay away?
Thanks

You know those times in your life when you were like “Dam, that was great advise and I should have listened, but didn’t!”…
This is one of those times. So listen.
Do not go see this Dr again, and do not go on HRT now.
You are in way over your head. I can tell by the questions you ask.
I suggest you start researching and studying. Shoot for a goal of HRT in 2010.
any good place you can suggest to start the research?

Well he IS in the right place asking the right questions, maybe if she’s flexible enough he can make specific requests learned here.
Read this before you do anything:
HGH? How old are you?
43

Check your PM
Wish “I” had a flexable Doc.
Give the MD my wish list and get on with my life!
Ok, I saw her again. She now has me on 200mg each week and she is going to do labs next time to see where I stand. At 200mg every week, can I keep the E2 in check with Arimidex?
I couldn’t but maybe you can. It depends if you’re comfortable with taking a lot of Adex. You’ll need upwards of 2mg a week.
Are there any risks/issues with Adex?
