Glad to read your wife is OK. The other night my family and the neighbors were having a fire in the backyard. I was poking the fire with an 8 foot 2x4 because the fire was so hot a shorter poker just wouldn’t work. Somehow I fumbled the 2x4 and it flopped out of my hands and hit my unsuspecting wife right in the forehead. Not as bad as a tv falling on your head but she had a big egg and bruise. I felt terrible but was forgiven.
Glad she forgave you, Steve. Mine forgave me as well…for not being there to stop here
I need to change my workout schedule again. Working out after work, on Friday, SUCKS! When work ends everything kind of gives way to a long exhalation. And I have no energy or drive…kind of like a fresh f*cked tree sloth with a full belly.
CGB - Index fingers barely touching the smooth part
225x3
245x2
275x1 300x1 - PR +5# 310x1 - PR +15#
Tricep Pushdowns - elbows in
100x12
110x10x2
That’s it. And yes, even with the PRs it was crappy. I had at least 10# more on CGB (more if I had given a shit), but my give a damn was broke and I didn’t even try. My flat bench SUCKS! I might have had 7 reps with 285#, if I had gutted it. I got 11 reps with 285# back in May. My bench is really diving.

But, hey! MP is up, so it is all good.
friday training works well for me but I often get out early on fridays…
you know as well as any of us that not everything moves up at once, soon enough the tide will turn, for now ride out that MP growth cycle for all it’s worth!
have a beer or three and get your give-a-shit back this weekend!
Shoulder Day -
Left shoulder is still tweaking. Same damned thing that has plagued me for over 18 months now…with varying degrees of discomfort. Really need to get it checked…again.
Funny thing about the shoulder. I originally hurt it doing seated DB overhead press. Anymore, though, MP doesn’t aggravate it much, even though it does hurt if it is already bothering me. The main culprit is bench press. Go figure.

Maybe you should consider a bench shirt. You know, for shoulder health!!!
Nice work on the above items. Just so you know, I really dislike Business Communication. So much I’m shooting for an ‘A’ just to piss myself off.
Definitely take advantage of the deductible being out of the way…I’m going to do some PT before year end on my shoulders and hip just because I can for the same reason…As always, great lifting!
Lat Pulls - Close Neutral 210x8 - PR +1 Rep
160x10x2
Alternating DB Curls
40sx10
40sx8
40sx7
Wasn’t feeling overly motivated. I have to help someone move in a few minutes and wasn’t wanting to fry myself. As often happens, when I am not motivated, though, I end up kind of playing and set a few PRs. I can’t complain.

i’m impressed with your record keeping skills to be able to know that those were PRs
SD, I log EVERYTHING. I keep a notebook with me in the weight room and log every set and every rep, good or bad.
Of course, it is easy to find records of the back work, because I have only been seriously doing it for a few months.
a 45# PR? Damn it, that ain’t fair!! But it sure is awesome to read! Congrats LS nice, nice work…for an unmotivated guy…graphing is too simple…send it over and I will have it turned into 3D cad drawing and we can do mean time between failure analysis and dissect the effect of thermal expansion on PR’s…or something like that.
