For the Non-Golfer?

Was this at the PGA Championship this past weekend? I didn’t even hear about it! As usual, the media sucking Tiger’s cock is probably way more important than reporting something like this.

Boo Weekley was Sergio’s playing partner for that round and was keeping his scorecard. He tried to tell Sergio that he got a 5 instead of a 4 on the one hole and that the scorecard was incorrect. Sergio just didn’t seem to care. I guess he realized that Tiger was running away with the tournament and he knew he didn’t have a chance.

Sergio is probably still hurting from giving the British Open to Padraig Harrington. That was his tournament to win and he gave it away.

Yea that makes sense…

The most recognized athlete in the world (as per NY Times international poll) who is on pace to break one of the most untouchable records in sport, has captured the media’s attention…

Stop the fucking presses.

Mufasa…

Golf scoring is not rocket science…the caddies keep a card, both players keep separate cards, and each player has a marker that keeps a independent card.

To sign a incorrect card is almost impossible.

Sergio was way out of contention in that tournament, I doubt he did it to improve his ranking.

There have been many instances were a player has even signed a higher score than they really shot. I BELIEVE that if you sign for a higher score than you got that score stands, but if you sign for a lower score you are disqualified.

Roberto Devicenzo signed for a higher score than what he really shot in the 68’ Masters.
It ended in a tie between Roberto Devicenzo and Bob Goalby, but the latter was pronounced the winner when it was discovered that Devicenzo signed a scorecard showing his score to be one shot higher than it really was.
