For All the 'Hardgainers'

PS Serge Nubret used to eat horse too.

Beef works. I haven’t removed any of the steaks from my diet yet because my strength isn’t going anywhere as I drop weight with it.

He eats like a bodybuilder. My guess is most of the guys calling themselves hard gainers don’t have the drive to force that food down to get big.

Do you have a target weight you want or are you just eyeing it to reach a target look?

Nah, its like, totally the roids man. Mixed martial artists can’t put on size without like, chemical voodoo and stuff. There’s like, test tabs in his potatoes.

In all seriousness, Overeem has an impressive physique for an MMA athlete. Bulking up was the best thing he could have done for his career. Sad that so many MMA fans jump on the roid bandwagon when many of them haven’t touched a weight in their lives.

Sorry but Overeem is on roids. Not that I think his transformation is unbelievable, he had many years to do it as opposed to someone who shot up 40lbs in 6 months like Frank Mir.
But Alistair has been dodging fights in the U.S. for a reason, and most who follow MMA believe he’s on it.

Just for the record tho, I don’t hate on Alistair. I think he’s great, a little over occupied with fighting cans in MMA but he’s still very exciting.

Didnt realize Fish was a type of Beef. I kinda believe that hes on the Roids aswell. 4 years ago he had a pretty record then magically, almost instantly,he gained 20-30 pounds and starts getting mroe aggressive and wins?

Over 4 years he gained 20-30lbs? That’s only 5lbs a year, or slightly more. If he needed steroids to achieve that, then I pity him.

There is no such thing as hardgainers, just guys who dont try hard enough.

Eat with purpose and train possesed and you will grow.

I can’t believe that anyone cooks meat on the stove like that anymore. I think a George Foreman grill ought to come standard with every kitchen.

Since this addition to my diet of having beef at least 3 times a day I’ve been seeing gains. I would recommend it to anyone trying to gain. I’ve gained about 5-8lbs (fluctuations from starting weight) in a 30 day span.

No way. I’ve used the foreman grill for a while and the taste can’t compare with meat properly cooked in a skillet. Especially steak.

This.

But I still cook on the Foreman most times b/c it is quicker and if I want to eat something that actually tastes good, I buy it at a restaurant. All of my food is pretty boring as I just inhale it anyways…

X 2

Too many people I know complain that working out doesn’t make a difference because of their body type so they don’t even try.

Ever tried cooking meat like that in a cast iron pan? You create a sear by cooking it at a high heat on both sides (essentially burning it, locking the juices in) and then throw it in the oven. I’d be damned if a foreman grill could cook it better than that.

Me neither! That pan is way too small for 2 steaks. Crowding the pan like that will result in the juices steaming the meat. No way will it brown properly!

The pan looks thin for frying.

I’ll pretend there was no comment about using a George Foreman grill.

Are you serious with this bullshit?

If you are NOT making gains like that, you suck at this. I mean, damn I gained around 40lbs my first year lifting.

Guys shut up I want a steak now…

Oh, you mean like this?

I have no target weight. I am just under 280 right now which is the lightest I’ve been in about a year and a half. I was thinking I was dropping too slow because I am only losing about 1-2lbs a week and my strength has actually gone up on a couple of movements…but I guess it just takes time. I personally like being bigger more than I like being ripped but I do want to see my abs this year before summer.

The point of the post was “Look at how big this guy is. Look at how much he eats; particularly the amount of meat.” This correlation holds whether you’re taking steroids or not. Gah. Diet’s probably even more important when you’re not on steroids!

Please don’t post shit like this. It has nothing to do with the point of this thread.
