Hey T-maggers! I 've been on a low carb diet(50-100grs daily) and was wondering what foods are O.K to eat while limiting carbs. The other day I went to Chinatown in L.A and walked into a food market to get some green tea, and saw so many foods I had not seen before. One in particular that looked like noodles. The ingredients were Yam flour and calcium hydroxide. The amount in the water package was big and had less than 1gr. of carbs per serving. I thought that would be a great replacement for pasta but don’t know what the glycemic index is on that. And what the hell is Calcium Hydroxide and is it bad? Anybody know? Thanks
