Hi guys/gals -
I’m an IT geek and it’s been about a year since I was on here - I’ve recently moved from Atlanta to Paris; then got relocated to London - I’ve just today signed up for a proper gym instead of all the hotel shit I’ve been in - it’s been a struggle.
I was wonder what you guys think of www.fitday.com as a tracker for food/caloric intake and body measurements - graphs and the whole nine - do you find it easier to use your notebook and excel or what?
Just wondering - my notebooks are starting to turn into a nightmare and being a bit techy - the historical information easily at my reach is a quite interesting…
thanks guys - wish me luck - any one in london need a workout partner?! lol
cheers, as they say
taylor - (god the food does suck here!)
Okay - well lots of people read this but no one said anything - do you use a notebook or a computer - if you use your pc - what do you use?
Got any good templates?
First what’re your goals? The only time I would even use a caloric counter is if I’m cutting, and even then it’s not likely.
People make this a lot more complicated than it has to be, remember to KISS: keep it simple stupid!
As for body part measurements just take pictures.
I’ve used fitday.com in the past. It was OK and there’s another Web site that you can import foods from restaurants… http://www.dietfacts.com/fastfood.asp#W I ended up buying the software to use on my PC instead because the Web wouldn’t print reprots, etc.
Someone said why bother but I have some good reasons to keep track. So go for it.
