Foam Roller is Soweeeeet!

I finally got around to buying a foam roller and my first time using it was pretty damn good. It feels great! It’s a cheap investment and well worth it, in my opinion.

Judging by the title, I think it’s safe to assume that it’ll be $10 or less.

It better have felt great afterwards, not during, because if your hitting your legs right, it should be like hell the first time

… but you learn to love it!*

*When it doesn’t hurt so damn much

The first time? How about most of the time! hahah

You should try moving up to using PVC pipes instead of the foam, that one really hurts when your doing it. But feels so good afterwards. And if you hit the construction sites find the scrap pieces, its free.

Try incorporating balls into your soft tissue work. Start with a tennis ball and work up to a solid rubber ball commonly sold at pet stores. You can also play with different diameter balls to hit tight and sore areas differently. I love using both. I love the balls for tight glutes/piriformis. It really digs in there well.

Zing!

1 thing I found that works well with the balls, I like golf balls myself is to toss them in the freezer. Works really well.

I wonder why it’s so cheap down in the States. My foam roller was closer to $40 CAD. (still worth it though).
