Would it be okay to combine forward and backward glides into one trip and count it as one rep? Like say instead of going 15m (50ft) forward one would go 25ft forward and 25ft backward and count that as one trip/rep.
Also I try to do floor glides for gpp on my lower body days but I cant complete 6 trips of 30m(100ft) as you laid out in your article, can you tell me a strategic way to go about building this up? Should I just do as many trips as possible until I am strong enough for 6? Thanks.
Forward and back trips can be a fun (!!!) experience. You can even move in patterns or through a course, there’s really no limit.
Gliding is like most conditioning work, it takes some time for you to be able to build up the volume. Don’t despair, just keep working hard at it!
