Flame Free Confession III: Even More Flame Free (Part 2)

I confess I had a kilo of grapes yesterday and only stopped bc mum came home and saw that the 1.5kilo box was mostly empty

That stuff is addictive AF.
I can stop eating candy, pastries, ice cream etc, but put me in front of fruit? No chance

Grapes. Yeah. Big trouble.

Oh, THE BEST TREAT I have ever had was when a woman brought out a tray of frozen fruit for us after a brutal summer day of tree work.

Grapes, orange slices, strawberry slices, blueberries, etc.
It was Amazing.

Until a few years ago I’d do frozen pineapple chunks as a 3:00pm pick me up at work in the summers.

Any time I see a post on facebook that has some kind of ā€œstreetwiseā€ advice followed by Read That Again, I block that profile.

Cuz no, I will never read that again.

Shout out to the sidewalks for keeping me off the streets.

Kidding of course.

I confess I miss the outlier members posting here on Tnation. They brought more craziness to the site, making up for a fun read, and you never knew what to expect. Unf, they all got blocked for one reason or another. Thinking about @planethealh or @ectomezo to name a few. Any other honorable mentions?

To this day, I keep waiting for this kid to come back. I was really rooting for him.

The predator program. Not to be confused with the Apex Predator Diet by Jamie Lewis: this is even more insane.

There have been some great ones!

The early 2000’s- 2010’s were completely nuts. All kinds of crazy characters.

I think I joined the site in 2017 and I miss the posters and threads from back then. It was a fun time for me as a teenager and new lifter.

I confess I participated in a BodyPump group training session yesterday. A humbling experience that I dare any gym rat to try. The intensity is extreme and if performed in good form you really need sufficient base conditioning - and to leave the ego at the door. An interesting reflection is that the heavier your bodyweight - The more you need to put an effort into it. On the second leg excercise I went for bodyweight only. Needless to say I was the heaviest participant.

You could critizise BodyPump on a number of things, but it is what it is, and that’s what your getting yourself into. My muscles are in a state of shock due to the ā€œnewā€ stimulus. Not so much DOMS though, but I’m kind of swollen all over because of inflammation (or hopefully a testosterone spike)! Challenge yourself by trying a session! It will get your attention for sure!

I confess that I like straying into the pharma section to read about all the guys who are cycling steroids and call it TRT.

I confess I joined a HotWorx gym (infrared sauna workouts) and am really enjoying doing a lot of yoga in the heat.

@Derek542

Well there’s a blast from the past. What compels you to summon him?

I get upset reading these topics. Primarily because it’s these dudes that have given TRT the reputation it has. People call TRT cheating, as though a diabetic receiving insulin is also ā€œcheatingā€.

He just bought a HOT WORX location in the Houston area.
