It’s also really the only day where it is acceptable to deep fry 15 lbs of poultry in one go.

My in laws have a turkey frier that is air based instead of peanut oil based. All the benefits of frying, none of the oil absorbed.

I’m here to confess that I know more than I should about how much oil actually gets into the meat if there’s no breading.
The good news is that protein doesn’t really absorb fat in the same way bread does, so in my opinion you should be open-minded about cooking protein with a variety of fats under, over and inside a variety of heat sources.

Ive heard that when done correctly, very little is actually absorbed, and the oil is just a medium to convey heat evenly and with good temp. stability.
When done wrong, it becomes a greasy disaster.
Is that about right?
I prefer to save my energy, and instead of fighting, just praising God for giving them smallpox.

This whole thing makes me want to suggest Fish Meal and/or Fish Bone Meal to garden bros.
Is this something you can talk about on a public forum? Otherwise, do you have any resources you can use? There are people here who will be able to point you int he right direction if you need to speak to some-one professionally.
I use that and also blood meal (for leafy greens). All work great.
The idea of fertilizing a garden with the drained blood of my enemies is more appealing than it should be.
