Yea I’ve done that before too and it’s not bad but I like the mix of veggies and some calorie free sauces.
I might as well be at maintenance because nothings happening. But there’s no more calories to cut. The only carbs I eat is from a 140 calorie English muffin (plain) for a pre workout meal. Everything else is lean meats and fresh vegetables. Like where the hell do I go from here??? Been ramping up more cardio so maybe that will help but my body refuses to shed fat, or grow for that matter.
I’ve been using a (half) sweet potato as my base for the turkey and sometimes throwing in peppers/onions/zucchini, too fat to worry very much about macros but it tastes decent and doesn’t wreck my gut
When I do the ground turkey lunches I usually add bell peppers. I have a hypothesis that they give me nasty farts (high quantity of them too), but it could be the turkey too? Need to do a lunch of just peppers or just turkey to sort this out.
I haven’t had gut issues other than the farts though with the cauliflower rice yet, and didn’t with the jasmine rice.
It takes time. Leaner you get the more suffering it takes for smaller increments of improvement. You know that though. Just thought I’d give a reminder of that.
I am trying to think of this cut as if it is going to suck. I think I do better when I expect it to suck, than when I am thinking it’s not going to be that bad. IDK why. Expecting something to be hard or suck usually means I try harder, and am more prepared to mentally resist candy, donuts, muffins, and my nemesis beer.
I live off ground turkey. 1lb of 93/7 a day. Used to mix it with ground beef until I decided to drastically cut down on red meat.
I used to eat it with just some leafy greens mixed in and it got boring quick and I just had to force feed myself. It got MUCH more palatable once I started adding EVOO and parmesan cheese into it post cooking. A lot juicier and I really like parmesan cheese.
You know this is my issue too lol. Almost all the fat I have is in the stomach. I’d say I look 5% higher BF than I actually am.
Here is kinda a confession for the thread. My wife got her eyebrows micro bladed at some sort of beauty school. She found out they do the coolsculpting thing for a lot less money than most places (about 1/3 the cost). I am kinda tempted to fix my holding all my fat in my stomach issue. Then I can be 15% BF with abs. From what I have read, I think they can spot remove about 20% of the fat in an area. I am not sure if that is per session or takes multiple sessions.
The main thing holding me back is it just seems so vain to do it. IDK, AAS doesn’t seem vain, but this coolsculpting thing just feels like cheating and extra vain.
My GF wants the eye brow blading
I’ve also thought about cool
Sculpting too. I’m not gonna lie, if I had the money I’d totally do lipo everywhere on my upper body lol
Well, it appears each session can remove like 20%. The second session would remove less total fat if it is a percent of what is remaining. Three total sessions though could have you with like half the fat distribution there.
Fat distribution is totally underrated for genetics (maybe I’ll add that to the over / under rated thread). Superior fat distribution can make the waist trim with abs, but it also makes the limbs bigger. It is kinda a double impact thing. I think most people just think about the impact to the waist line. Maybe even a triple impact thing because the arms are bigger, the waist is smaller, and a small waist makes the arms appear bigger.
Maybe see if there is a school that teaches it? I think it is normally closer to 6-$800 a session.
This is the first time I’ve ever heard of coolsculpting and… Damn I really want to do it on my belly. Years of childhood obesity has given me loose skin on my belly that seems like it’ll be the last to go and I fear that I’d have to get quite lean, leaner than I’m honestly willing to commit to, to get rid of it.
And I totally disagree that it’s vain. Using coolsculpting to remove unwanted bf at strategic locations seems smart if you have the cash for it.
At the risk of getting flamed not in this thread, I’ll start a thread on it. @tareload has mentioned a rare occurrence of it backfiring and causing more fat.
I confess I did something so fucking stupid again they should put me in jail and it was dumber than the last one I didn’t want to get into but it also involved basic math.
I was browsing stuff in the “hardware section” in a supermarket and saw a cleaner for mold. The ingredients stated 3% sodium hypochlorite in a ready made spray I can just use without having to mix clorox in a spray bottle every time I want to clean that area since sodium hypochlorite degrades in like 1-2 days. I’ll just use it for the litterbox room and get my vacuum/mop robot to rinse it off. And it was like 3USD.
Then I remembered that what we normally refer to as “bleach”, like Clorox, is NOT BLEACH. It’s a PRODUCT which contains diluted bleach(sodium hypochlorite) at around 5-6% IIRC. So what I bought contains half of the amount of bleach in Clorox.
So this is how fucking dumb I am.
I mix Clorox @ 1:32 ratio following guidelines for disinfection (which is not sterilization). So that’s around than 0.2% or more of actual bleach I mix in the spray bottle assuming the fucking PRODUCT that CONTAINS BLEACH has around 5% of bleach in it.
So the ready to use spray I bought contains fucking 10 times the normal amount I use.
Now, if we’re talking about sterilization, which kinda means surgical room kinda levels, the dilution in a solution would be 1:10 according to guidelines. That would make the amount of actual bleach used around 0.5% which is around 4-5 times more that what I use.
And I’m really sure I have the math wrong here too since I’m literally braindead from so much shit I had to do in the past week.
@BrickHead I’ve seen you post here. Remember our exchange about IQ? I told you how ironic it wasl that I spend everyday trying to convince people during work I’m smatter than I really am and here I am trying to convince you I’m not really smart at all?
