Flame Free Confession III: Even More Flame Free (Part 2)

Same. I go to far with jokes/commentary in hopes it makes someone laugh, and this was certainly the case here.

There was a guy outside the gym. He asked me what I did. I told him ā€œI lift weightsā€

I then start my deadlifting. He sees me, gets wide eyed and saysā€ohh… when you said you lifted weights, you really meant itā€¦ā€

I confess this made me happy

Confession 2: I am developing a semblance of a social life now. This is quite unsettling

I was watching some clips of this anime called Baki on YouTube. Idk why but something about that anime is so motivating…probably cause everyone in that anime is jacked asf. So I’m watching Jack Hanma fight Muhammad Ali Jr. (Don’t ask…) and the more I look at Jack Hanma, I think to myself ā€œLol he kinda looks like @T3hPwnisher ā€œ This is probably like the 10th time I watched the same clip in my life but I just noticed today.

I like to imagine this is Pwn eating his Piedmontese steaks

I confess I’m tempted to blow the money I won from the hackathon on something really stupid

Sometimes it’s more fun to think about different things you Could buy than to actually buy anything.

agreed

I get significant utility from watching other ppl buy things and imaginging owning them

tbh, I might invest in plates since parents won’t be there so they can’t stop me from getting them LOL

Buy a Ps5

Tbh, I’m probably going to buy gifts for mum

If it’s not something really stupid, it’s not blowing money.

I have spent SO much money on peanut butter, beef, and low carb bread products.

I regret nothing!

Are Jordans played out now, or still cool?

I’m thinking about treating my team (the two girls) to fancy dinner

Do you have a sous vide? I feel like that actually is a compromise of blowing your money and treating your friends to a good meal. It’s exactly the kind of thing I’d never buy for myself but would find nifty to have.

I’m graduating next spring and cooking equipment is a hassle to carry around

You’re saying this to someone that has moved a home gym 4 separate times that has a combined weight of something like 6000lbs, haha.

Best thing ever.

When I get into more permanent housing (aka grad school), dad said he’d buy me a set of Henkel knives and whatever equipment I wanted

My MO is actually being creative and figuring out how to make do with NOT having proper equipment/ingredients. It’ll be nice to have things, but a lot of the fun is the figuring out.

Proudest moments in the kitchen were: 1) whipping merengue with chopsticks, 2) figuring out how to cold smoke salmon with a pot, bowl and silicone tubing

IDK if I’d recommend buying a whole set… I think you’ll find that buying purpose-built knives piecemail tends to be a bit better.

I bought two $150 knives a few years back, and I still love them - but wish I had just bought the chef’s knife and then gotten a big squared chopper. Just my opinion
