Freddy’s has a good burger. Culver’s is pretty good too.
Yea we have sonic. We have all the basics, just none of the cool ones @T3hPwnisher alwshs posts about out west
IMO, in and out is overrated. Remember guys this is flame free. I am also willing to admit it is a good burger. It just isn’t really any better than Freddy’s (a similar style too). To be deserving of all the hype it should be significantly better (I think Freddy’s maybe even has a bit of an edge on this on after having both).
I’m now very much mid-west, but I still believe…
I very much agree with this while ALSO stating it’s amazing. It’s just been so hyped up that it can’t possibly live up to it.
I’m starting to think that maybe it’s not that we don’t have good fast food, maybe I just don’t like fast food and when I see people experience Joy with fast food we don’t have, I just assume their fast food is actually better, not that they just like foods I don’t.
PA doesn’t have much in fast food either. In fact, when I saw a Sonic I was like “Oh! Wow. A not McDonald’s! Let’s try that!”.
I am a few days behind here. Lindt makes 100% bar. I can usually find these at my local grocery store. $2-3 a bar. You may need to try the baking aisle.

I appreciate that. I can find bars just fine, but can’t find the individual wrapped dudes like the 92%.
There is a big difference between Freddy’s, In and Out, Culvers and most fast food. I perhaps like these as good or better than most sit down burgers I have had.
I like fast food most too. I get Chipotle, Taco Bell and Wendy’s all the time. It’s just when I get Freddy’s it is a treat.
Also, I posted in here a while back about finding atlas stones at a job site. We went back to that same spot the other night and we and a work buddy tried to pick them up. They were on the ground which made it super awkward, neither of us got them past our knees
kinda cured my desires on strongman stuff ![]()
Get ready for sticker shock.
Looks like I will stick with 92%, haha
PA doesn’t need fast food- sit down restaurants throw fries in top of salads ![]()
True. You don’t ask for fries. You ask to not have them, which is typically responded to with “Huh?, You sure?, or Really?” then “Hey, no fries on that salad” yelled across the restaurant.

Don’t you have delicious BBQ, hot and ready to go, all over the place? That’s gotta count for something. Also, do you guys have “Cook Out”? That’s a good oneone.
In East Tennessee our beloved local fast food chain is called “Pal’s.” Like other regional favorites, it’s not great, but it’s Ours.
Yea we have non chain and chain BBQ places everywhere. We just got a cookout, the food is so tiny, so far my favorite is the grilled chicken sandwich with the coleslaw.
I made that mistake once… never again
Shutter Island
something doesn’t add up there… ![]()
We have Ghetto fast food.
Popeyes, Hartz Chicken, Waffle Houses, and like hybrid chains. One of them is a Popeyes jammed together with Long John Silvers
