@flappinit on the subject of “the USA could dominate in other sports iof there were funding”
Watch from min 57 for 3-5 mins.
The guy far right is the USA 7’s rugby coach. As 7’s is an Oly sport it gets a fair level of funding and is very much easier than a full 15 man game. But the message is simple - dual sports a few of these kids. Just the odd term (semester?) here and there. Get the basics in there. Then if they don’t make the cut they have another option.
Personally I like the idea of another tier 1 rugby nation. The top flight in right can be very closed off. Often with 1 or 2 teams in the ascendance. With a group 2-5 playing catch up. Adding anther team to that mix should make it more “dynamic” with less predictable results.
Random thought… when giving out advice to others based on your own indvidual experience regarding training or diet. You might want to factor in the concept of individuality.
From what I’ve read, true “white chocolate” is the fat from cocoa beans so, while it isn’t chocolate, it’s technically cocoa. For years, I hated the stuff. Most manufacturers sweeten it into sugary oblivion.
Then, one year, I ate some Lindor white chocolate truffle balls. They must’ve had some nutrient my body was craving, because I smashed out a few bags of them and have a taste for quality white chocolate to this day.
I am…intrigued. when I was a kid I was a terrible skater because I was a terrible uncoordinated everything and it’s the kind of thing dancing would help with.
That said I remember those faceplant outtake reels at the end of the videos. Ouch…Good luck
There’s something weirdly British about it - it’s all about getting the very best ingredient and doing as little as you can to it.
The Japanese chain Wagamama here does a version of a full English breakfast, which is what brought this home to me. A great choice at zero dark thirty in the airport.
You just gonna use it to cruise or actually gonna try to learn some tricks? If you do any tricks, this Tony Hawk video was kind fun to go along with when I decided to get back into skating. I’d say Levels 1 to…6-7? are fairly “easy.” (Up until 7-8 minutes or so.) Especially if you have prior experience.
Ripsticks? Never once could even stand on one of those things, haha. Your coordiation was better than mine.
If can get one more verification, I guess I could give it a try. You eat stuff that would make a billy goat puke so I can’t totally trust your judgement.
I would have Thai first and then Indian, I’d take Mexican too. One advantage Japanese has above all of these is that when I’ve had bad Japanese, it’s not that bad but bad Thai, Indian, Mexican, etc is abysmal.
I just ate fast food for the first time in a long while. 2 large Arby’s roast beef and cheddars, and some new fish sammich. Felt great during consumption, feel like death after lol
