Wait … did she eat breakfast during your therapy session? Was this an inpatient treatment in a hospital? I am confused.
For some reason, my right arm is more vascular than my left??
you should be!
…said every Marine I knew, 1-2 days after the end of a long deployment without female contact
I thought this was normal? I have different vascularity on each arm too.
Telehealth therapy session. I’ve seen some weird stuff since last March, but this tops the year for yucky via Zoom. In person, the yuckiest would have to be the late-60’s woman who picked her skin and ate it for an hour, despite me repeating “don’t pick!”
WTF?!
I mean, the body isn’t symmetric so I guess, but I just find it interesting nonetheless
After having a few work outs drag out I started to time my rest periods.
Confession : my work out was 3 whole exercises quicker.
When you mess with your recovery it really throws you. Well did me. I wasn’t able to do some of the exercises. But (big but) I feel better for it.
I confess, I don’t know what real local american food is. Pizza is originally Italian and burgers are originally German (but okay plus points for popularizing it, I guess). Aside from pancakes, bacon, steak and BBQ, can’t think of anything else. What is “truly American” food? I guess there’s Spam, KFC and McDonald’s too. Lol
“Local food” in this context refers to the Hawaiian BBQ, as it’s vastly different than ACTUAL Hawaiian food. Kinda like if I said “I miss Chinese food” and was referring to the stuff that gets put out on the buffet line vs actual traditional cuisine.
Gotcha. It wasn’t really a call out of anything like that. I’m actually genuinely curious about my question. It’s been on my mind the last few weeks
Ah, I didn’t interpret it as a callout: just sought to clarify.
I know when I travel, all I want when it’s done is a cheeseburger.
I’m skipping the gym today.
The Cobb salad is totally American. It was invented by my uncle, Bob Cobb.
Key Lime pie is a US original too.
Ohh gotta try those!
I never know whether to lol or not when stuff like this comes up because it could be 100% true.
“Bob” should have given it away ![]()

Bob is short for Robert.
Robert Howard Cobb.
My uncle was a chef. He worked all over and there was a time he was at the Drake Hotel working in Chicago and he would experiment with different combinations. The word got out. That’s how the Cobb salad was born.
