I was warned about this very earnestly and in very clear terms upon release.
It baffles me as to why people feel the need. Even my super natural, essential oil huffing “I have an herbal remedy for that” sister was stone silent on the subject, which kinda surprised me.
I’ve never had a personal experience with that sort of stupid. But I’m VERY outspoken about it. I trust doctors. I’m not saying I accept everything they say. BUT push comes to shove they have a ton of training and experience fall back on.
The T-Replacement mantra of “doctors don’t know” has now leaked into the supplements and nutrition forum, where people who haven’t gone through medical training can now speak confidently about what doctors didn’t learn in said medical training.
Yeah - and they do know. Its just they are building slowing to the end game. Its risk management.
It’s like having a heart complaint. The internet will tell you open chest surgery will fix you problems. Straight away no messing.
But you Dr is stood there going - yeah but so could taking 1/ 2 an aspirin twice a day… lets do that AND all this other shit before we commit to a major operation.
It blows my mind that people dont see that.
Confession:
This is twice in a week I’ve ranted. I had no idea I was this angry.
There are usually studies that these people post, but as you know, it’s the way they go about information gathering: they have an answer first, and then they go looking for anything that can be molded to fit their narrative. On the net, if you look for “evidence” of something, you’ll find something to support it. Real research works in nearly the opposite fashion.
“Have my darbushku leaf which has the highest nutrient content of any food in the world”
“Hmmm, seems if I have an extra sprout of broccoli then I get about the same ‘nutrients’?”
“No, no, no buy this $20 leaf”
I confess that new White House Press Secretary chick is so smolderingly hot I can’t stop following the current politics even though I swore off watching or reading anything political for the next couple of months.
This is a significant problem. That and people are stupid. Flame Free. You should absolutely know as much as possible about your condition and treatment options. You should absolutely see a medical professional to pursue treatment. You should not go to a GP(PCP) with a hormone or endocrine problem and expect expertise. That’s not the GP’s (PCP’s) sandbox. Guys come into the TRT forum in a steady stream seeking ways to get treatment because their “Symptoms” match low T. As if those vague symptoms don’t match everything from being a wuss/hypochondriac to Stage 4 cancer. There’s a reason for labs, they prove or disprove your hypothesis.
