A guy at the gym stank the place lit today. So bad an off duty member of staff who was working out started sprayed air freshener everywhere he went.
Confession:
I was both socially crippled not knowing where to look AND in awe of her complete righteousness.
All she said to him was:
“You smell. I cant train in that. I need the breath.”
I didn’t even notice the one red first watch! That’s crazy. Be interested knowing from someone who competes if they saw anything
@chris_ottawa comes to mind lol
The refereeing standards for paralymic bench are absolutely ridiculous. So far beyond what passes in powerlifting its mad. If the bar looks to slow down, even slightly, its a red light. So these guys will rarely get anything above 90%.
Because life hasn’t made it hard enough ![]()
They red might have been on the pause. Some judges are dicks and want a pause that is not what is described in the rules book.
It looks good to me but in paralympic bench meets they have some extra strict rules, like if the bar stalls during the lift it’s no good and stuff like that. I really have no idea though.
That’s usually the center judge though, here it appears it was one of the side judges that red lighted it.
I appreciate the sentiment, but from what I understand about mild schizos after a decade of speaking to different doctors from different countries because of a schizo(moderate) relative, they’re relatively normal, functional people. Just more prone to mild delusions and paranoia from time to time, ocd, extremist views, etc unless some major event triggers them. None of those “hearing voices” and stuff. Probably describes half of the people on this site lol.
Catholic guilt is real, dudes.
I think the only issues is what those voices are saying.
There is a good movie out right now about a kid struggling with schizophrenia. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Can’t remember the name though lol
Oh, it’s not only that. My relative went off his meds once because some Chinese Traditional Medicine practitioner recommended it and then left home and lived on the streets for a week before we found him.

Words on bathroom walls! I saw it too! Very good movie, would highly recommend.
I see what you did there lol. Well played!
I don’t think it’s a major issue that needs to be contended much unless certain authors start making extreme claims that all you need to do for big biceps are deadlifts. Most people should be doing a balanced workout anyway for overall muscular balance throughout the body. What I’d be more concerned about are things like postural issues if someone benches 3 times a week and doesn’t train his back.

I have seen this guy. He is at every gym I have ever been a member of.
This guy is really disappointed in you right now
I am so embarrassed, my 20 year old self would be hanging his head in shame😢
People that do that sort of stuff and prey on the vulnerable are genuinely horrid. It should be a crime to advice someone to stop taking medication.
I’m so anti “alternative medicine” as a whole its unreal.
Because alternative medicine that works is just call MEDICINE. Which means alternative (in this context) means bullshit.

Exactly the same for me.

Not a traditional medicine thing but when I was younger a friend’s father had a heart attack, was saved, recovers and is sent home with a truckload of drugs.
His brother visits him, while chatting the father is grizzling about the number of drugs he has to take. The brother asks what he is taking and just happens to name a drug the brother took in the past.
The brother asks how his eyes are. The father says they’re getting worse. The brother says, the drug makes the eyesight worse and you don’t need it based on his experience with dia-fucking-betis.
Unsurprisingly, the father drops dead a few days later.
Idiots.
I confess I was that “guy” ![]()
(no gym now)
Yes, I have postural issues ![]()
