Flame Free Confession III: Even More Flame Free (Part 1)

He won’t even send you ribs… your really think he’ll reveal his tasty secrets :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

I confess I’ve not enjoyed any Bond movies other than Skyfall. Shit, did you see the way they lit the scenes while Bond Manor or whatever it’s called was burning? DID YOU? REALLY? Go watch it again. It was magnificent. Breathtaking. MINDBLOWING. Oh and I kinda liked the one where Denise Richards plays a nuclear physicist(ahahahahahaha bwahahahahahha).

But I do like the soundtracks from the movies. Goldfinger, The Living Daylights, Skyfall, the song by Sheryl Crow etc.

Regarding the books vs the movies, I vaguely remember reading Dr No when I was a teen. Then I watched the movie and I spent the entire time trying to figure out why nothing in it resembled the book lol. Not even the guy playing Bond. Then I later read that Ian Fleming originally wanted David Niven in the role and it all made sense.

There is a theme to this, but I don’t understand why.

I’m actually really puzzled.

He did make some amazing smoked briskets though when I visited, so it’s all good. And at least he didn’t gush over how good everything is and never offer even a crumb.

Our family friends bring us a rack of perfectly roasted dry rubbed ribs each week after grill nights.
I complain about them on a regular basis on this thread

Oh, I know.

As I wallow in lonesome hunger with No ribs. :slightly_frowning_face:

I’ve been told this might be a control thing. When all else fails, I still control the gym. If I’m down (technically depressed) and find myself with no energy then I will still train. I won’t do anything else willingly but I still train. If I ever lose that then I’ll know I’m in a really bad place.

Skyfall was amazing, and unexpected after Quantum of Solace aka the most ridiculous plot ever. Everything from the visuals to the nostalgia to the soundtrack was just phenomenal.

Get on my level, bro.

This round goes to you!

How’d you cook the salmon? It looks damn good

Confession: The last couple degrees of extension rom (left elbow) are pissing me off. Nothing seems to be working to get them

Training confession: since I still cannot really push upper body, or deadlifts, I’ve given myself a running goal. I fucking hate running too

Nice starter where is the rest.

Like it wasn’t bad enough we have to be jealous of your food porn in your own log, now we have to endure it here?

Is that a ribeye?

That’s always been me. Faster, faster, louder, louder. I’ve preferred the running over weights because I can lose myself in it whereas weights require that my mind be involved. A friend told me incredulously once that her therapist called running “akin to self-harm” and I was like, well yeah. Kind of. The angrier I am the harder I go and the better it feels.

But I’m not angry now. Just depleted and wanting the time for other things.

@Polar-Bear, a friend wants me to do pilates with her as a private group thing…it’s funny, I’ve been nagging these friends to do something with me (as an add-on for me) for what, five years now? And now she’s ready? When I’m finally completely disinterested? But I probably would do it if we can get a couple more people and maybe it’ll reinvigorate me. The social aspect would be nice.

When you’re finally completely disinterested is the exact right time for your friends to start nagging you instead of the other way round!
This is the part where you get to feed off their energy instead of other people feeding off you.

True.

Nah. NY. Strip. That’s always a really tough call though.

The butchers case only had these massively thick cut ribeye, but I was only looking for regular dinner steaks.
