I had nuns in Catholic school that could accomplish this using only a ruler.

The dude was a badass. He’s also the Chinese equivalent of Saint Michael when it comes to worship.

Has this turned into the Asian Appreciation Thread?

Whatever about their crappy martial arts. Japanese food > Chinese food > Indian food

Also, I loved Crazy Rich Asians.

What? No opinion on Korean food??

The kicker for me was that the book/movie weren’t that off base

Too spicy for me!

100% underrated, especially since a lot of places are buffet stable with the bbq and dish out free kimchi
We went to an amazing place in some back alley in Seoul. I legit ate more than the rest of my family combined :joy:

I lived in Korea for a year … about an hour south of Seoul (on the train) - their street food vendors are amazing (Seoul and the town I lived in) – been learning to cook a few Korean dishes - Bi Bim Bop is my wife’s favorite … looking to make kimchi and bulgolgi when I get to it

But yea, Korean food is underrated…

I get that but I love spicy food … the Indian guys I work with looked at me like I didn’t know what I was doing when I was ordering the same spiciness as they were with some of the dishes.

I’m not a huge fan of like burn your asshole type hot wings … a guy I used to work with would get the hottest on the menu and sweat through his shirt eating them … thanks but no thanks … I like flavor; I don’t like my tongue to go numb…

yeah… don’t piss off an Indian cook… or Indian friends who happen to know restaurant owners… Never ends well for the white guy :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

American Ninja had me convinced Ninjitsu was the superior martial art.

I love sun-dried tomatoes and to this day every time I eat them I remember the Friends episode where they denigrate them and get, entirely irrationally, annoyed.

What’s wrong with sun-dried tomatoes?

On a barbecue chicken pizza?

No?

I confess that yesterday, I ate an egg white omelet and went on a 3 mile run and that, this morning, the first 2 numbers on the scale read ā€œ1ā€ and ā€œ8ā€ for the first time since 2012. I am all that is wrong.

I was supposed to train Friday. Then I decided I would have some good rye and play guitar on my deck. I got applause from my neighbors, but didn’t make much progress on the strength/physique front…

Down to only 18 stone? If modern strongman has taught me anything, that’s going to hurt your strength.

Thank you!

It does help to have friends with a back hoe and farm property

I assumed American Mustard was sugar and yellow. Turns out I was wrong and it basically just vinegar, ground mustard seeds, salt and tumeric.

I have had it on everything for the last 3 days.
