Fish, White, and Red Meat

Is it possible to cut out Red and White meat and still expect gains in muscle? I would just replace red and white meats with more fish, if it is possible i’d like to know, thank you.

Why in the hell would you cut out red and white meat? Chickens all around the world would hunt you down and kill you for insulting them.

Yes it is possible, but you are making it harder for yourself. Chicken/pork/beef and good sources of protein and fat, and should be stapeles in any lifters diet.

If you are worried, just add fish instead of replacing another meat with it.

Sure you can gain with fish being your only protein source, provided you eat a lot of it along with plenty of carbs and fat. If you plan on doing this though, be sure you get the vitamins and minerals you’re missing out on by not eating chicken and beef.

You can build muscle on fish alone depending on what else your diet consists of. They don’t say “beef builds beef” for nothing. lol

That is a legit reason. The wider variety of fish you eat, the better micronutrient profile you would consume. I would recommend that you use it to make up the backbone of your diet, but there is no reason to completely eliminate other meats. They still will have slightly different amounts of micronutrients and each meat usually has at least one important vitamin or mineral that the others are not as high in. If you also have access to cheap shellfish, go nuts there too.
