It’s really hard finding information on the Internet about fish oil, because supplement companies have the top results in Google. Here’s how to get around that problem: search term site:.edu This will give you only sites tied to a university.
The site is great, and references every claim. It even links to many of the studies that are available online. How cool is that?
One thing I learned (but always “knew” from personal experience): If you’re using fish oil for your joints, 3 grams of DHA + EPA is the MINIMUM you need. And you need around 12 weeks before you realize relief. (Some joker in the Flameout thread said that just a week or so after taking the caps, his joints were feeling better. LMAO.)
Also, if you’re interested in supplementing with fish oil for mental conditions, you need an even greater dose: at least 6-8 grams.
Anyhow, there is lots of great (non-biased) information there.
