Fish, Chicken and Waffles II

Atlanta, unless Dallas has one of those games where the DO NOT turn over the ball and have a shit ton of penalties. Weird season for them, I cant figure out what keeps them fucking up the way they do.

At least the D looks better.

If the Falcons play like they did in Philly I don’t see a whole lot of teams beating them, someone will. That said if the Failcons from the Raider game show up Dallas should roll them. Hopefully it’s a good game. I’d like Atlanta to lose sometime next month, that old kick in the pants game before the playoffs.

It’s going to be San Fran and Atl in NFC championship game for sure.

A guy can hope can’t he.

diet: same boring ass shit as most every other day.

Training today

DC A2

Low incline DB press 60’sx12-8-4=24 +1 rep
Seated DB OHP 60’sx11-5-4=20
Lat pulls 150x13-6-3=22
chest supported DB row 80’sx12-6-6=24

I’m forgetting something here just can’t think of it and am to lazy to walk to my car and get the log book.

224.6 this morning, that’s an even -11 lbs and with only 3 weeks to go I need to step it up a bit.

Yesterdays cardio

20 fast walk
stretching
forgot to do abs
20-30 minutes playing basketball by myself. The way I put up bricks I made a game, shoot the ball, if I miss sprint to the ball and shoot repeat until I make a basket. Once I made a basket I could then rest and find a new place to shoot from to start over. By the end I was beat and way more fun that just sprinting.

Food was a little ef’d so I can’t really post calories since I just don’t know.

Breakfast
2 whole eggs
4 egg whites
1/4 cup cheese

lunch
6oz turkey breast
1oz almonds

2nd lunch
1 cup peas
2 scoops protein powder (didn’t realize I was down to one turkey breast)

dinner this is the ef’d part
2 bratwursts
some sour crout (sp)
1/2 cup of german potatoes

The VP of my group was in town and took us to dinner last night problem was it was at a bar, this was the best of the worst food they had there. Meh…is what it is, at least I still lost 1/2lb this week.

So what you were trying to say is you suck at basketball? haha When exercise feels fun, its not like “work”.

Yea pretty much. I’m an overweight, middle aged IT guy that never played high school basketball, I’ve got some growing to do before I can even say I suck. Toward the end I was trying to shoot layups, didn’t help.

I was just kidding around. I always want to join in on whoever is playing when i walk past to get to weights.

Enjoy your treat night!

Hey did you ever figure out a camera to purchase?

UP- thanks, it was an eff’d up weekend.

Matty- no that’s been back burnered for now.

Crappy weekend translated into a good session today.

DC B2

Preacher curls 90x13-7-7=24
reverse BB curls 55lbsx33
calf raise 6px12
squat 275x8 315x6

Got a box out and squatted, form snapped right back into place and life was good. Everything was touch and go, honestly I had 8+ in me but I’d set a goal of 6 and stupidly stopped there. Not sure why putting a stupid box under my butt keeps my squat inline but it sure does. Probably going to keep it for a few rotations, maybe more, who knows. Honestly I don’t really see a reason to not squat to a box? As much as I say I want to do a comp who knows if it’ll ever happen, to many other things going on in my life to completely commit to it. What eve’s I’m happy again.

Busy as a 3 legged cat trying to bury a turd lately, have been slacking on entering diet info.

So is it over? did you win?

Nope, not over yet, we’re going until our last work day before Thanksgiving which I believe is the 20th. To my knowledge I’m in the lead on straight lbs lost, which since the other guys started much heavier than I did I should also have the highest % lost as well. Going to try and knock off another 5+lbs before the end to hopefully seal the deal. I’ll be out in the woods chasing bambi for 3 days prior to the weigh in so that should help me.

Cool good luck.

Thanks DJ.

So I decided that last night I would take my last cheat meal until after the weigh in on the 19th. It’s only 10 days but why not make a run at it. Would really like to be in the 2teens come that date.

Have had several people come up to me recently and ask if I’ve lost weight, what a great feeling to be recognized to my efforts. Starting to see the outline of those one muscles in the stomach area, funny thing is I still have a bit of a lower gut and love handles.

The down side is none of my clothes fit right anymore, everything looks like I’m wearing a freaking moomoo(sp)?? Not going to buy any new clothes just yet, probably wait until I get under 210 and see how I look/feel.

What do you get if you win?

$80 and bragging rights. The original idea was to motivate a couple of the larger guys to drop some weight and get healthy. Most of those guys gave up long ago and now it’s down to 3 people. Two were bigger dudes, of the 3 of us I was the lightest at 236lbs, one was 256lbs and the last was 301lbs.
