Overview-
I competed this past weekend at 165 RAW. I’m 25 yrs old and usually sit around 180lbs. I got 2nd place, totaled 947. I’m a little disappointed with my lifts and total. 225/315/405 was my worst case scenario. I lost first place by 1oz of water. I should have been more conservative with my attempts and not missed so many lifts. 5/9 is not impressive at al
But, all in all it was a great experience. I had trouble with timing getting pumped to lift, as well as pounding gatorade/sugar for energy.
Started dropping weight from 190 in January. Approx 180 in Feb. Last week I dropped cals and used water and sodium manipulation for a few lbs. I sweat and spit last 3-4 lbs. Weight drop wasn’t bad, landed right on the button 165.0.

250- miss, felt strong but couldn’t lock out.
250- miss, same, wanted to try again

315- felt good
350- miss, didn’t sit back correctly, GM the weight up.

375- sooo light
405- grinder but good pull
420- miss, right shoulder slipped, still rehabbing this.
