First Cycle Log.

Yeah, Thats not good lol. Do you do a cool down after you workout? Doing some type of cool down after a workout I think is very important, because it allows your body to get rid of that lactic acid that your muscle cells create during anaerobic activity (aka lifting weights). If you’re not doing some type of aerobic workout (cardio, HITT, etc) pyruvate, which is a by product of glycolysis (your body turning glycogen into ATP), turns into lactic acid, which is what causes DOMS. I usually play basketball or something after I workout just to get the blood and oxygen flowing into my muscles. I think it helps with recovery a lot.
Great log and thanks for sharing. I would like to comment though that the lactic acid theory of DOMS is not supported by research and does not even pass the logic test if you think about it. Lactic acid is flushed from the muscle by circulating blood instantly upon ending a contraction, and circulating levels of lactic acid return to normal within an hour or so.

Also, studies have shown that concentric contractions causing significant build-up of lactic acid fail to produce DOMS while heavy eccentric contractions that produce little lactic acid are capable of producing debilitating DOMS.

More promising theories about the source of DOMS revolve around the effects of microtrauma such as spillage of Ca2+ and buildup of prostaglandins and leukotrienes, which is consistent with the above in that eccentric movements are very efficient at causing tissue damage while concentric movements are not.

That said, I totally agree that getting the blood flowing and your muscles moving after a workout and in the days following are great for recovery.

Quick question, what kind of results as far as test level should I be looking for on my blood work if I am taking 750mg of test a week? Is it different for every individual? Or is there some kind of range that I should be in being on that much test?

Thanks for sharing. I guess the take away from all of that is to just do a cool down after training lol. I wasnt trying to go into super detail with it, just sharing what ive learned from the classes ive been taking.

Your taking 750 Mg a week right, dosed twice aweek. It will depend on how soon you get blood drawn after your injection. Assuming you get bw done right before your next shot I would say anywhere between 2500 and 3000 ng/dl is good and 3500 being really good. These are total testosterone numbers fyi.

Im doing 750mg pinned MWF currently. Maybe I will wait to do my injection tomorrow until after I get blood work drawn. I ordered the female hormone panel, so if i remember correctly that gives me total testosterone. Say my tests come back around the 1500 to 2000 range. Is it safe to assume the oils are underdosed?

Female panel? Where did you order from, private Md? And yes I would call that underdosed and find a new source.

Haha yeah, I went a little too nerd with that post. Apologies.

Yes, I ordered from privateMD. I ordered the same exact blood test as last time.

I’m sure you know but you can order the tests individually if you want, i’m not sure what all comes on the female panel

H ey cougar, you live on Ontario don’t you? Of you don’t mind my asking, how did you go about ordering said bloodwork? I don’t have a doctot in m current city, abd don’t want the locals here to see my test boosted blood results… lol just curious what you had to do to get it done

Im actually not from Canada man lol. I live in the US. Sorry man

I will acutally be starting my first cut in a few weeks as well. I have never done a cut before, and I would estimate my bf% to be somewhere in the 11-13% range right now. I have a general idea of how to cut, but we will see how it goes. I would like to end up around 180lbs when I finish cutting. Just higher reps, more cardio, and foods like complex carbs, chicken, vegetables and fruit, nuts etc. Thats about all I can think of to update with for now.
Doing a test cycle to get bigger and stronger and then immediately cutting a bunch of that muscle you’ve just gained makes zero sense to me.

Then again, neither does a cycle at your age. Where do you go from here? What’s next? Don’t take this as attacky, it isn’t. Simply a dissenting opinion. The horse is kinda out of the barn at this point, anyway.

It is possible to gain muscle and burn fat at the same time. If you diet right and adjust your routine the right way you can cut fat while losing little to no muscle. It is possible believe it or not. I did it back in august and I can do it again. I dropped body fat and actually gained weight just by eating clean and upping my cardio, and I plan to do it again. As far as why I chose to cycle is my own personal choice. I keep this log to give others something else to look at when considering a cycle. Im doing it the right way, and I don’t see a problem with my age.

Most would dispute that. Cardio burns lean tissue (read: muscle). No need for us to discuss that, let us know how that goes. On the other topic (an early cycle age), it is personal preference, as you said. Personally, I would have wanted to see what I could do on my own during some prime muscle building years. That route is always available later on. Anyway, props on keeping the log. Maybe your experience (good or bad) or this discussion will help somebody else along the way. I wonder if you will have the same positive feelings about this cycle in a few years? I hope that you do.

Personally, I dont really care what you would have done. I gained 50lbs of muscle naturally in the last 5 years training, and I felt like I was ready. I have no problem staying on for the rest of my life later on down the road. Whether it is blasting and cruising or on TRT. I will die from 1000 other things before I die from doing a cycle of AAS. Thanks for reading the log.

Whos this fucking guy ey? Lol. Blood work come back this week or next buddy?

Workouts still going well? Hows the progress on your lifts going?

Lol, I just got my blood drawn today. So im hoping within the next day or so I will get my results back. As far as lifts go everything is up across the board honestly. Bench has gone up 30lbs, I have not squatted in a week because I felt some itching in my rectum (almost like I was getting a hemroid) so I took a break and its gone away. I go really low when I squat, so I think I was just stretching the tissue around that area too much maybe? I keep adding plates to the leg press though, Im now doing 8 on each side for set of 10, which is a big improvement.

Last time I squatted I was doing my max before cycle for sets of 5, so, things are going well. i just sent money in for a few more vials of test today too actually because since ive been doing 750mg a week, ive been running out a lot quicker than I had previously planned. I am thinking about extending the cycle a few more weeks as well since I have enough HCG. Well see how I feel though when that time comes. So far Ive been happy though. People are noticing that Im growing; and you cant complain with 12lbs gained.

Nodoubt ey? That sounds wicked. I hear yes about the squats, try doing a little higher? Stay at parellel instead of dipping under, see if the rectal stretch fucks off. At least while on cycle right?
Yes you have definetly upped your doses, im curious to see if your gear is underdosed.

I myself am only 31/2 weeks into my cycle and im up 15 lbs its rediculious. Lol definitely some water in there! It feels good when people notice though hey? Glad to hear things are rolling smoothly, your strength gains sound great!
Ill update my log soon, almost finished with dbol, then just test for another eight weeks. Can tell the feeling may be addictive… lol

Hahaha, yeah man thats great to hear things are going well for you as well! I do believe that my gear is underdosed. Im sending my results to the source I got the gear from, and showing them that its under dosed. And either they will fix the problem, or Ill just spread the word and tell people to stay clear. Ordering online though is all trial and error I guess. Its a risk you take. Ive tried several times finding a source in town, but the guys never get back to me. its very frustrating honestly. Do you have a link to your log? Id like to follow along

Nvm bro I found it lol
