First Competition

went to the mr olympia expo over in vegas to support my buddy garret pull a 777lb deadlift at only 21 yrs of age. i never been to a competition before and i really enjoyed watching it and when my friend went on stage he raised his hands up to get everyone pumped and everyone started cheering and he pulled the weight fairly easily, it was really badass. this was the first powerlift competition i ever been to and i have a whole new respect for the sport now. im supposed to compete next month for the first time i cant wait, pretty nervous though. im only pulling 605 at 270lbs but ive only been doing this for about a year now

Dude trust me, no matter how your lifts look next to the competition, you’ll have a BLAST, and it will motivate you that much more to train balls to the wall. You also meet some really awesome people that you get to talk to after the comp is over and everyone’s relaxed.

it’s an amazing experience to get up on the platform and see just how supportive of a sport it is.

good luck man. 600+lbs is no joke.

Yeah man 600 lbs is a damn good lift. You’ll have a blast and learn a ton.

cool guys ill be sure to get some videos up here sometime. I heard the rush you get from lifting with the crowd cheering is better than sex no lie
