First Blast Log: Test/Deca

I was always under the impression that “water weight” made the muscles look and feel fuller but that muscle separation would be diminished.

Everyone is different. Most of the pictures I’ve posted on here, I have dbol and high test in my system, both of which are generally accompanied by high water retention. And I still have good muscle separation pretty much everywhere. For me, water retention doesn’t change my appearance drastically. When I do 15-20 lbs water cuts for competition, I don’t look much different all from my ‘regular’ weight.

I should have thought about this more. You are right. I’ve recently added 4IU/day of GH to my current blast of NPP and Test and the water weight gains are crazy! About a pound a day. I feel fuller and harder but not significantly different looking.

I’m about 5’10-5’11, and my weight ranges from around 195-205. Usually right in the middle of that.

I do a lot of heavy overhead pressing, and a fair bit of lateral raises and unilateral seated dumbbell presses for accessory movements. I know everyone responds differently to different movements, but for me, overhead pressing has been key for delt development.

Thanks man. I just recently started dedicating one day a week to shoulders specifically. I’m sure development for strong man is much different than for physique/aesthetics, but whatever I can do to make them grow I guess @flipcollar

Out of curiosity what were your stats before you started lifting and the AAS?

If I remember correctly, my weight go into the 190’s naturally, but obviously not the quality weight that I carry now. Maybe as high as 195 at one point. I believe I got to the low 400’s squatting, low 500’s deadlift, and right about 300 bench. This is the last physique picture I posted on here, right before I started AAS.

I’ve been off my doctors prescribed cycle for about a month, and my weight is only down about 3-4 lbs…i think it’s mostly water weight. I carry a lot more BF than you, so I don’t think you’re going to see any noticeable effects to your physique, but maybe a few lbs on the scale. Great job, and thanks for all your advice! I’m about a month into Sermorelin and GHRP so hoping that is goi g to help with the last bit of fat I’m trying to lose in the chest/stomach.

So tomorrow is my last shot of Test at 600. Scale is showing 182, so about 15 pounds in total. I feel tremendously better after cutting out the deca early. Overall I’d say it was a good blast, but am looking forward to getting back to my routine at my try dose. I also took the twelve weeks off of sermorelin/ghrp2 and will resume that as well. It seems to really help me reduce fat in the belly region.

I hit a new PR on bench today with a double at 315 and a single at 330. Almost made it but failed at 335.

Thanks again everyone who chimes in with advice or encouragement. Gonna try to maintain for a month or so and then it’s time to get shredded!
