Google: firefighter workout, wilmington firefighter workout, firefighter calendar, [/quote]

what is there to improve???

who do u compare yourself to??

looks perfect as far as i can tell.

A google search for “wilmington firefighter workout” gave me this.

First hit: “Gay North Carolina (NC) Military Guys: Gay Military Guy Dating …”

Second hit: “Dad Gay Dating Dad Singles Dad Gay Personals Dad Men.”

Third hit: “Christian Gay Dating Christian Singles Christian Gay Personals …”

So… You’re the “gay dad man” type? Christian gay? All of the above?

Then you must have low goals.

I’m sorry, he definately has a good physique for sure, but come on now. Why are you making it sound like you’re telling him he doesn’t need to improve anymore, when that’s what he WANTS to do?

I was merely pointing out the weird hits I got after searching for one of the queries he encouraged us to look up on google. I would assume that FiremanSteve is mature enough not to take my post as a personal attack. Most likely it was only a coincidence, and a humorous one at least to me. If not, then that’s fine too - maybe your fascination for his body could lead to something interesting.

Not by any stretch of the imagination do I however see my post as a result of jealousy. You must know a lot about me . You also seem to think you have the authority to command me to leave T-Nation.

i do have these powers. lol.

I have been working those biceps really hard now for the past 3 weeks and plan to continue at it. I agree on my wheels. I run a risk of knee injury. Too many 10 mile days in South Korea in my military days. Boredom set in and running was able stave the depression. Now that my son is home maybe I can move up on the weights in dead lifts and squats. Your advice is much appreciated.

I have a long way to go. I want to look like the guy on this month’s issue (October 2007) of Muscle and Fitness. Damn, when will that be?

The google keywords are there since I was minding my own business at work and was outed as a gay man in my fire dept. They had googled those very words and up came a personal ad I had on requestadate.com as well as on bodybuilding.com. That got the ball rolling for the church ladies at work to start spreading the rumor. I figured that placing those google keywords here would bring them here to my page so that they could get a nice view of what a true firefighter workout could give them.

But yes, in answer to your question, I am a gay dad. I am a man. I like men. I have a Christian background although I no longer frequent any church due to all the judgmentalism I have been exposed to. I like military men most of all. Why? Because they are usually not your usual stereotypical gay type of man, like the “flamer” type. I don’t like the stereotypical types. NO GIRLY MEN! I like men like the Colt model Bo Dixon. Now that is a manly man.

Nah, thanks for coming to my defense but he was just being inquisitive. Trust me, I am not easily offended. Anything that could offend me has already been said or done by my ex wife.

I SO want to improve. Going back a few posts, I want that look of the guy on October 2007 issue of Muscle And Fitness. That will take a LOT of work.

I wouldn’t do the 100 rep one ,but rather concentrate on heavy compound exercises likes heavy chins working last 2 sets from 4 to failure, barbell curls also finishing off with alternating dumbell curls or concentration curls working on the eccentric part and explosive concentrics.
But make sure you work triceps(separate workout days) just as hard …as each helps the other.
Hope you try this as mine also develop slower that other parts,i can understand your frustrations.

The 100 reps a day is actually to be incorporated with ur existing plan. U simply do the 100 reps a day program in ur freetime (u prolly need a pair of light dumbbells at home) on ur not lifting days. I would definately agree with u to do compound bicep exercises like weighted chins but the 100 reps a day program is a complimentary scheme to add to an existing program

Another suggestion to fireman steve would be to use a variety of bicep exercises. Standing EZ Bar, Preacher EZ bar, Standing Hammer Curl, Seated Incline Hammer Curl, Concentration Curl, also check out the Drag Curl explanation by Thibadeau (this is actually my favorite bicep isolation). Dont use all at once but throw in some different variations every couple of weeks to keep ur body guessing.

Sorry for long post but another thing woud be to put ur Biceps first on a given day/days. Start off with weighted chins one day. And maybe even drag curls another. I know its typically bad practice to start ur workout with an isolation exercise but putting a muscle group at the beginning of ur workout is one of the best ways to get that muscle stronger/bigger.

Sure but i never heard of anyone actually doing the 100,it is split into two sessions though ,50 morning and 50 afternoon or evening.

Sure all it does is flush the muscle but i honestly can’t see the benefit myself.
Although it’s highly aerobic what use is it?
