Finished Bulking, Now Cutting

hello hello,

I just finished a two month bulking cycle and now wanted to tone/cut the gains that I have made. However, i dont want to lose the weight/size that I gained(does that make sense)? Does anyone have any suggestions on what workout to use to accomplish this goal? Also due to the gains in mass i gained a little bit of fat on my abs, so besides the dieting portion, does anyone have a good workout for my abs?
Thank you

two months?

I hope this is a joke…even I’m a newbie and I’ll point out a few things:

  1. You should be bulking for amuch longer time than 2 months.
  2. If you can still see your abs, you haven’t bulked enough.
  3. cable crunches are a great workout for abs.
  4. HOT-ROX Extreme is a great product to lose weight without losing muscle. I actually GAINED muscle from it.

you gotta fix your stats on your profile, i’d hope your 6’ not 6" (inches)…

anyway, at 6’ 175, i think you should keep bulking.

Unless you added 20-30lbs, keep bulking.

why not bulk for 2 years then come back and ask that

Bulking till you’re a fat bastard is overrated…

bulking till your not a scrawny bitch isnt tho. fat gain isn’t a big deal but if you are gaining more fat than muscle what is the point. cleanly bulking and losing your abs isnt a big deal. mine are going into hibernation right now. But the goal right now isn’t to have abs its to be 230. This guys goal shouldn’t be abs either.

I love it how people think your instantly fat if you can’t see your abs. Sad world we live in :frowning:

The purpose of bulking is to get more calories consumed than burned. calories kept > calories burnt. This will help your body get that extra energy to rebuild the muscle in a greater way (don’t feel like getting into specifics). If you meet the min. requirements (calories kept = calories burned) than you will only be on a “idle” state where your body is having enough just to survive and keep your ass up.

Yea bulking will reqiure at least a good 6 months!! I will start my bulking in october and then start cutting at the start of june in time for the summer season…i know it can have an effect on the mind when all of a sudden you feel fat because your abs are slightly hidden but thats the way bulking works dude.

But when cuting i tend to use decending sets incorportaed with supersets to shift my heart rate into gear…also try 2-3 days of intense interval training!!!

Happy Training!

IMO cutting is all about diet and keep your training the same. If you change up your training you won’t know if your getting weaker. Maybe rest for less time between sets. I would start cutting before June. Start in like April or May your better off.

I started in June and By the end of July i was doen and the summer was mostly over. This year i plan on bulking from now till December doing my first cycle and ending it with Clen in my PCT. So by April or May ill be cutting.
