Finish What You Started

Pretty pictures! My husband walked in while I was looking at your “tough” pic and asked “who’s the hottie?”

aww…

I think I’m going to get brave and take the kids along for the cub-scout family camp out in Oct. Granted the cabins are provided, but a step in the right direction.

Congrats on losing 1.5 inches so fast!
I hate bloating :frowning:

Its been a few weeks almost, and Im still feeling funky. I think it’s a mild case of depression? I’ve never been depressed that I know of.

Doctors suck here and I don’t want to be medicated, but was thinking of looking into St Johns Wart…Does anyone know anything about that stuff?

st. John’s wart, omega-3’s and vitamin D would be a good natural alternative as well keeping up the exercise.

hugz.

fall seems to bring it’s share of crap this year.

But I love fall!! :frowning:

Thanks N…

My boys.

I feel like hitting the gym now. I’m ready!

I love your pics!! I always get envious of your glorious hair, but if anyone has it, I’m glad its you

Thanks…

its more of a pain than it is glorious…trust me. I’ve threatened to chop it off on numerous occasions. It’s the longest its ever been in my life.

B-vitamins (B-12, B complex) can also help the mood and energy level.

Made it to the gym.

Legs mostly, but the highlight of my trip was when I decided to make sure I can still military press. I threw 75 on the bar, went up easily. I did 80 for 4 reps, and 85 for 1 rep!

4x6
Front squat- 85
Rdl- 135
Leg press- 2pps

walking lunges one way(75lbs)
planks- 30s
walking lunges back the other way
hanging knee raises- 10reps
repeat 4 times, barf

1 leg hypers- tried it with a db in one hand…hard. better to just do more reps and feel the burn!
GG/BG machine

10 min on elliptical hill thingy

Hey momma! Sorry to hear that youre still a bit down and out - its understandable though, especially considering your situ. I go through depressive streaks myself, but I don’t really worry about them. There’s no rules that say we humans have to be happy all the time.

In fact, when I go through bouts of depression I kinda just own them and use the time to reflect and focus on myself and my family. We’re all different of course, so you do you

Anyways, beautiful pictures! You do look tough, in a sweet, soft kinda way

And great work on the MP and getting in that extra bit of cardio!

Thanks.
The reality is and as cheesy as it sounds, when your spouse leaves they take a piece of you. Your not whole until they are back again. Well, at least that’s how it is for me. I know other military wives who throw parties when there men leave.

I happen to like my husband

One day at a time…thats all any of us can do!

I agree with you on the feeling of the spouse leaving. I’ve been married for over six years and traveling for work (a little over 6 months of last year and will be over three months this year) has been the hardest part of the job since I started. The fact that I’m getting used to it doesn’t help, it just means I have a rountine to deal with it. Not sure that’s a good thing.
