Finish What You Started

Training:

Giant set-
V-grip pulldown- 4x6x105
Incline bb bench- 4x6x85
1 arm row- 3x10x50
Db bench- 3x8x45s

I did some other stuff, but that was the bulk of it…oh, planks with hands on a med ball…haaard!

I also did 10 min on the elliptical to elicit some heavy mouth breathing  Gotta admit, I liked it…I felt it in my quads and calves. Not bad!

The director/trainer lady stopped me on my way out and said that she has a new idea that will get us all more clients/money…it sounds AWESOME… since she does so well at selling the big packages, she would take 20%, the gym gets 25%, and we’d get the rest! So if she is selling $540 packages, that’s $405 to meeee!! She has to figure out a way to work us all into that when she is selling. Sign me up!

Going to have some carbs with the next two meals…call it a moderate carb day. I can tell I need it since I am daydreaming of oatmeal.

mmmmmmmmm, raisins…

I love raisins in my oatmeal. Try it, next time you delve into the goodness that is oatmeal.

Its how I know Im getting old. Old people eat oatmeal, haha…

My mom always used to try and make me eat cream of wheat when I was growing up…I hated that shit. But now that I’m old I’m growing a taste for soft bland foods? wth!

Bring on the prunes!

I eat oatmeal… and prunes (in my trail mix)

Well damn, now I feel older beyond my years.

But your workouts are definetely not old-lady ones, therefore you’re not old.

Nikki your not old guts will thank you for years to come. Tmi maybe…

MiM, good job for getting into the gym even when you didn’t feel like it. I didn’t feel like it yesterday, forced myself in with my hat waaay down low so I didn’t have to talk to anyone. Oddly, got winked at by a cute guy. I was totally flustered and walked straight into a piece of equipment and slammed my head into the side. Moral of the story…don’t be a hot mess like me? Lol.

I hear you on the baked goods and MiM, I’m sorry if I sounded preachy, I know you know yourself and you don’t need a lecture from a messed up equipment head-butter. What I meant to say was, YOU GO GIRL!!

preachy was the last thing you sounded like.

Ftr, I know I’m not old.

Heh, one of my old boyfriend actually banned me from eating prunes because they made me fart so much.
Prunes are deadly!

I don’t care. I love prunes. Raisins too!

So I got eat ‘normally,’ today. Although, ordinarilly I wouldn’t have oatmeal for dinner

whey shake
beef stick

turkey meatballs
steamed cauli, basically the whole head…hehe
ketchup n garlic salt…it was good, bite me.
raisins!
rice cakes

oatmeal
cottage cheese

Im feeling full but not drugged.

took the kids out to a cool state park. It was good to get away today.

I’m pooped now, though. We hiked a total of 4 miles!

Trying to look tough.

Nice hiking too!

In other news I was feeling smaller, so I grabbed some measurements this morning. Not even a week into and my butt is an inch smaller and my tummy is 1.5 inches down…I musta been blooooated! Can your butt be bloated? haha

ya, it was fun. I love doing that stuff and the kids do too.

.

theres a few different trails through the park that all lead out to the bay. I might go back one of these times if I can get a sitter and do the 4mile trail byself…if not, next year with the hubby.

Awesome pics MiM!!

lovely! how far are the trails from your place? so jealous.

We aren’t far from trails around here…heck, there’s even a 1/2 mile loop right behind the housing … Hiking is one of my most favorite-est and I want to do more of it. A LOT more!

The particular place we went to yesterday is only about a 15 min drive from here.

I feel lucky that we are a family of nature lovers but I need to learn more about it so I can do things on my own with the kids. My son asked when we are going camping. hahaha, good one!
