Coming in here is like going back home. You always get that warm, wanted, full belly feel.
Thanks for that Betty. I made it to 12’10, how bout you? I am way to old for this shit.

awww, Thanks Print!! scratches print’s belly
I made it til 1130 and was getting bored. I didn’t have anyone to smooch at midnight anyway, hmph.
But hellooooooooo 2011!
^ I meant to add, the squat was downright perfect & made to look way to easy.
Trying to figure out which is more beautiful, your mental strength or your phys strength? Both are pretty hoe btw.
Well it has been a while since I posted in here. Although, I do snoop on a regular basis.
Great training and I wish you a 2011 full of accomplishments, health and happiness. And I believe hubby is coming back so I wish you plenty of bow-chicka-bow-wow as well ![]()
You’ll be squatting two-hundo in no time!
Betty, my best wishes for a wonderful 2011! I predict a great year for you and your family.
You can easily do HIIT on the rower. Row as hard as you can for say, 1 min, then either rest completely or row easy for 30 sec-1 min. Then repeat for 8 cycles at least. I do intervals on the rower every now and again, and its a great workout.
great PR ![]()
Happy New Year!
Happy New Year MiMsie!!!
Happy New Year MiM! keep up your great work
Great squat PR!
And dammit woman, get a spotter for that bench! You’ll be able to get 150!
You sure as hell did end the year on a high note, Happy New Year Sexy!
Happy New Years MiM
Egads that bench fail made me nervous. I’m wondering why the bar flew back toward your face. Don’t do anything to mess up that gorgeous face!
Happy New Year!
That was a nice squat, perfect form, keep pushing the weight, I bet you could do 2 plates very fast if you kept pushing heavy triples on a regular basis.
Seconds on the bench safety, that movement looks like a torn rotator cuff just waiting to happen. Get a spotter or set up in the rack, or you might end up pushing 95lbs with a lot of pain and agony like me right now.

Been there. Done that.
Nice squat! Great save on the bench…
the muffins sound good, i might have to give them a shot. nice squatting.
Hey…thanks for all the awesomeness!! ![]()
Been pretty stressed out lately, so glad its the new year.
I know that bench was pretty scary. I got too cocky and didn’t think I was going to miss it. Therefore I had no plans for if I did. Fight or Flight mechanism kicked in!
question for all: Without going on a specific program, whats a good way to focus on strength for the main lifts? reps/sets/frequency, etc…I know there’s a wide variety of opinions and ultimately you have to find what works best for YOU. But in general terms?
As it is, I haven’t really been training for strength since I’ve been in diet mode it seems for the last two years! Just happy to maintain what strength I do have. obviously I haven’t been working around max capacity if I can pull 230 without having DL’ed in weeks and squat 175 without having squatted in weeks either ![]()
In other news, I cut my hair off yesterday. Yep!
all 7 inches…it’s still considered long, middle of my back. The idea popped into my head and I wanted to do it before I changed my mind.
It had to be done.
dude, I hadn’t even considered setting up my bench in the rack. I’ve benched 135 for reps in the smith machine though, haha!
There’s a PL meet September 10 down in VA.
tempting…
After all, this is the year for me to step out of my bubble.
I guess I have a complex about competing because I’m not a competitive person! I don’t feel the need…
And I suck at sticking with programs.
I guess I won’t know for sure until I hear news on the job/school front in a couple months.
To be honest, I’m perfectly happy competing against the log book. And to be able to keep focus on my other vain goals is important to me as well…
