It helps to have his parents here though.
Apparently the morale ‘over there,’ is extremely low and the hubby was told that the one day off a week he got is no longer.
And I had to take my little girl in yesterday to get her blood pressure re-checked and there is something wrong. My heart sank and I felt like puking.
She was so sweet with the Doctor and Nurse. They kept asking me if she was tense at all, because the readings they were getting were very high… . And I said, ‘If she was, she wouldn’t be laying there smiling up at you.’ 
The Doctor thinks it’s something called co-arctation of the Aorta. Basically the valve is constricting blood flow…but without seeing a cardiologist to be certain she doesn’t know exactly whats going on.
I have to take her next week to the big Naval Hospital.
Until then, we will be happy and tonight is the big night when the big man in red comes! YAY!

Aww MiMsie, I’m sorry that things are difficult right now. It sucks. But it just goes to show what a strong woman you are that you’re able to forge ahead, put on a smile, and try to make things better for everyone around you. I <3 you.

Well, she could be stressed and still smile. I was stressed one time but I don’t show it in public really, and my BP was crazy-high. Few weeks later they’re phenomenal again.

Hope everyone is relaxing and enjoying there time
…I think my in-laws are leaving Wednesday. Its been nice to have extra hands, but I’m ready to have my house back.
I called to make my daughter’s appt and it is Jan 10th. MIL was trying to sway me into making it for this day and that time to suit her schedule so she can fly in. That kinda annoyed me…as I just took whatever appt I could that was the soonest I could get it! whatevs.
She’s helpful but a little too pushy and always ‘suggests,’ things. Without the hubby for backup, it’s been kinda stressful.
We had a pretty good Christmas overall. Kids got spoiled rotten! Too many presents to mention…they would have been happy with half as much. Oh well!
I gave hubby the news of what is going on with Julia…didn’t want to, but he asked when his parents are leaving and it kinda started from there…since they would have stayed a bit longer if I can get her seen Tues or Wed, so that my MIL can go with.
He is already having a crappy time and now he’s very worried. He’s called numerous times so his mom could talk him down and his supervisor even gave him some extra time off.
If I had waited, took her up there and THEN told him, he would have asked ‘Why didn’t you tell me??!’
And anyway, he even said himself that if they recommended some kind of procedure say the following week, I wouldn’t have known to tell them to put a red cross message through so that he could come home for emergency leave.
ugh…
We got our snow storm yesterday…good thing Santa brought some sleds for the kids!! Took them out sledding earlier.
