LOOK!!! No back wings! This is HUUUGE for me. When I put on weight, a lot of it goes on the lats giving me unsightly bulges, etc…not sure if many of you here can commiserate on that one…but I’m happy!!

Good training today…Mondays are rough, cause I’m feeling the affects of no carbs, and during training I can almost tell at what point I have depleted myself. (sounds like a bad accident, haha!)

Training on no carbs all week…then Fri- Sat I have some freebies to load up for the week to follow…seems to be working! :slight_smile:

And it suits my life. I can actually see going this route for maintainence as well, just not as harsh.

We’ll see…it’s easy to be strict when the hubby isn’t here. hmmm…but I refuse to fall back into old habits where I let everything I worked for go to waist as soon as he walk in the door!

Today was my first day training without an energy drink. HIGHLY addicted to those but trying to at least cut back. I don’t want to feel like I can’t train without it. Not to mention the cost adds up!!

Im also sipping on tea atm, instead of coffee… its not a bad vanilla chai tea I found. I also found some indian curry mix that fits within my macros to use on my chicken…yay for that!!

I <3 my new grocery store!! Went there this afternoon to get some things and just browse around, haha…

Is always a big deal for me to find a new store. We just had a big health food store open up a few months ago in my town and people still won’t leave it alone. Grass fed beef, bison steaks, all sorts of deliciousness. The whole store rejects anything with high fructose corn syrup and other “bad” (usually artificial) ingredients. It’s the hippie store basically, but yum! Hope you find some awesome stuff for the family to munch on. ^-^

MiM, I went to Whole Foods the other day to look for your whipped cottage cheese, and could not find it. Imagine my disappointment! I’ll try Sprouts this week, or a different WF’s.

I really don’t have any desire to do this a 4th TIME I’m an expert at gaining and losing weight…I wish it wasn’t the case…

Odyssey- I’m very happy for my new discovery! I wish we had enough $$$$ to buy the organic line of poultry/beef, etc…but $6 for a lb of beef? yikes! They even have such things as ostrich and bison. Its really like a mini WFs packed into a grocery store amongst regular stuff.

I’ve been feeling brain foggy the last few weeks. Falling asleep well, but waking exhausted. Not a good sign…not sure if it’s diet related or something else. I’m overdue for a thyroid check anyway. I never went back to the endo that I was referred to because my lab work came back ‘normal.’ I stopped taking my meds too. That was 2 years ago.

You actually have the ideal body type for a classic X shape. The narrow hips wide shoulders is best. And you’re getting there!

yeah if you never really “sleep” it wont matter how long you’re down.

i vote for going back to the endo, and telling us what supps you take before bed.

I always go to bed and wake early. My brain is very sensitive to sleep and I need exactly 8.687543869 hrs. I was fighting to keep my eyes open watching a movie at 830 last night!

Tucked my son into bed and I was asleep by 915. And if you really want to know I woke at 1115pm to pee, and then back to sleep all the way through til 530am.

I don’t take any supps. Feeling ok this morning. Brain fog comes in waves I guess.

I have to schedule a checkup at the clinic on base within the next couple weeks. Get blood taken, wait a week for results and I’ll go from there. Hopefully before our thanksgiving trip I’ll know. If anything is the matter I have to request a referral, wait a week for the acceptance letter and then schedule an appt with them, which last time took 3 months because they were so backed up!
