Finicky Shoulder

after doing flat BB bench about 4 weeks ago my right shoulder has been agrivated (spelling) again. last time i took time off and it got better but it took about 2 weeks… i’m not looking to take time off again unless i have to as i’ve been making good progress the past 3 weeks and dont want to stop…

it requires me to do 2-3 different light exercises that warm up my shoulder and doing several large circles with out weight to get the soreness/tenderness to go away… after that it feels “ok” but still not 100% but i’m able to lift… done this the past 3 weeks on any day that requires any shoulder movement.

any exercises or recomendations to get this thing healed up ASAP.

i hadn’t done flat bench in a long time and now i remember why i wont do it again.

Besides not doing bench, I’d let that heal up, doing light pushups and such to help promote healing and prevent muscle loss. One you’re healed up, choose movements that don’t hurt your shoulders. Perhaps use dumbbells.

But go to a doctor before you do anything.

If your shoulder is getting sore/tender… then I’m not going to give you any advice because I think in this case you need to wait it out and ease off your shoulder. Could be some kind of sprain. Then when you get back into it and it still hurts, see a PT.
